CHAPTER 45

THIRD PERSON's POV

"Just stay still son. Kami na ang nahihilo sayo. Don't worry because she will surely say yes to you." Josh's father said to his son who had been walking back and forth.

Josh stopped and faced his parents. "Sorry, I just can't help but to feel nervous. Paano kung hindi siya pumayag?"

Narinig ng isa ang sinabi niya.

"Don't worry hijo, my daughter will say yes to you. Mahal na mahal ka non."

Josh smiled at her. "Thank you Tita." he thanked her.

"Mama. Simula ngayon, tawagin mo na rin akong Mama." she said.

Josh smiled and nodded. He looked at his friends who's teasingly looking at him.

"Nice one dre. Congrats agad!" Paulo said, Josh just nod at him and smiled a little.

Josh looked at his phone when it vibrated. He read a text.

"She's here." sabi niya sa mga kasama niya ngayon sa loob. They all looked at him and gave him a smile.

Josh take a deep breath before he get something on his pocket. It's a small red velvet box and it has something inside it. Sandali niya itong pinagkatitigan and a smile formed on his lips.

Kinakabahan man, he walked towards at the back of the door.

They first turned off the lights for the surprise.

Suddenly, the door opened so as the lights. Pagkabukas na pagkabukas ng pinto ay siya ring pagpasok ng dalaga. Gulat na gulat ito sa nakita at nadatnan niya. Josh immediately wrapped his arms on the lady's waist. Kusa namang napaharap sakaniya ang dalaga.

Slowly, Josh kneeled on the floor infront of his love, with the small box in his hand. Shock is evident on the lady's face when she saw his man kneeling infront of her.

"Hi love, happy first anniversary." Josh started. "First of all, I just wanted to say sorry because I left you at our house alone earlier. I just have to make an excuse to you for this." he said. "Uh, you're right on what you're thinking right now. I know that it's only a year since we became together and yet, I'm doing this to you. I know it's too soon but I just want an assurance, I want to make sure that you're only mine. Hindi sa sinasabi ko na aalis ka or iiwan mo 'ko dahil alam kong kailanman ay hindi iyon mangyayari, but I just want this." the lady infront of him is starting to get teary eyed. "Sam, since we started living together on the same roof, we've already seen each others side, alam na natin ang ugali ng isa't isa. We share problems to each other, we fix it together. Another good trait of us is that, kapag may problema tayo sa isa't isa, hindi natin iyon hinahayaan na tumagal pa. We always fix it as soon as we can because in the end, we'll just end up being together. And the most important that I wanna say to you is that I don't see you just as my secretary or girlfriend. Ikaw yung palaging nakikita ko na katabi ko sa paggising ko, ikaw yung nakikita ko na kasama ko na bumuo ng pamilya. I see you as my wife and a mother to our future kids." huminga ng malalim si Josh bago ulit siya magsalita, bago niya sabihin ang kaninang gustong-gusto pa niyang sabihin. He slowly opened the small box he's holding, showing it to her, "Sam, w-will you marry me?" he finally asked her.

Samantha can't believe what's happening. Her boyfriend is kneeling infront of her, asking her to marry him. She admit that Josh is right, this is too soon but there's no way that she will decline.

She nods her head slowly then she quickly wiped her tears. "Y-Yes." she said. "Yes Josh, I'll marry you."

Mas lumaki ang ngiti ni Josh nang marinig ang sagot ni Samantha. Nawala ang kaba na nararamdaman niya kanina lang.
