(Haru leaves the dinner to meet up with Han-seo and something terrible happens afterwards
A/N: this is really going AU because Cha-young didn't find out the truth until episode 11, but since the Jang brothers are tied to the Lee siblings from the past, the cat will be let out of the bag sooner than later, but I'll try to stick to the main canon as much as I can)
Min-jun brought the Team Jipuragi to this restaurant near his office. They served the best naengmyeon in town.
"I usually take my family here to eat", said Min-jun before he slurped his noodles.
"Wah, these are the best, Mr Lee Min-jun", said Mr Nam.
"What's it like? Being a consigliere?", Min-jun turned to Vincenzo.
"He's a huge Godfather fan", Haru giggled.
While Vincenzo and Min-jun swapped stories, Haru's phone vibrated. She took a peek to see a text from Han-seo.
"I know it's late, but can we meet up, please?".
"Hey, who is it?", Cha-young was curious.
Haru shoved the phone in her pocket. "It's..., nothing", she smiled nervously.
Min-jun turned to Vincenzo, who shook his head. It wasn't the right time to tell Cha-young yet.
"We must expose him before we tell her", Vincenzo's words echoed on the night of the ambush.
Haru's phone kept vibrating and Haru was itching to answer, but didn't want Cha-young to know. Min-jun sighed, frustratingly as he set his chopstick down.
"Just answer the damn phone, will you? I'm trying to eat", said Min-jun.
"Am I the only one not knowing who that is?", said Cha-young.
"I don't", said Mr Nam.
"I'll be right back", Haru said as she walked away.
Haru walked outside and answered the call. "Hello? Han-seo? Are you ok?".
"No...", Han-seo sobbed.
"What did he do?".
"Nothing...".
"Han-seo...".
"Please, I need to see you".
"Now?".
"Please?".
Haru looked back to the table. Cha-young was laughing with Min-jun and Mr Nam and Vincenzo looked up to meet eyes with her. From her expression, Vincenzo nodded.
"Ok, I'll ask Min-jun to drop me off at Geumga later ok? We can meet at the rooftop".
"Thank you, Haru".
Haru hang up and returned to the table. Then, her phone vibrated again.
"Is it him?", it was from Vincenzo.
Haru nodded before picking up her chopstick again. Cha-young dunked in her drink and slammed the cup to the table.
"Oh right, Haru, every time Joon-woo is around me, you get so pale. Did he do something to you?", Cha-young asked.
Min-jun choked on his food and both Haru and Vincenzo stopped eating. Cha-young eyed the three of them suspiciously.
"He..., um...", Haru hesitated.
"He's someone from their past", said Vincenzo.
"Really? But he's from New York", said Cha-young.
