Han-seo was busy reading when Haru arrived. She hung her coat and took off her shoes before jumping onto the bed with a huge grin on her face.
"You look extremely happy", Han-seo set his book down.
"If things go well, guess who's going to jail~?", Haru giggled.
"You have no idea how long I've waited for this to happen", Han-seo pulled her in his lap.
"Mr Chairman, are you happy?", she asked.
Han-seo kissed her, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her closer. He didn't need to answer as his own smile was enough for an answer to him.
Haru and Han-seo spent the night in each other's embrace, finally free from the clutch of the monster that held them on a leash. They will begin their life anew tomorrow.
TWO DAYS LATER
Han-seok had no other options left. He went with what Choi Myung-hee advised and walked out with his head held up high.
Han-seo walked next to him, being the only one not to gelled up and comb-backed hair like the others. He knew Haru loved this look on him.
Han-seo almost wanted to smile when the prosecutors walked into the lobby. He protested, but Han-seok told him that it was ok.
"Let me talk to my brother for a minute...", Han-seok pulled Han-seo aside.
"...Launch Babel Bio while I'm away", said Han-seok.
"I've postponed it", Han-seo casually responded.
"What?".
"There are a lot of rumours about Babel Bio right now. They're saying it's a front for inflating stocks and manipulating accounts".
"Who are you to decide that?".
"No, it wasn't all me. The board and Planning Division advised me".
"Hey...".
"Sir, you told me to become a businessman like Elizabeth Holmes...", Han-seo pulled his brother for a hug, "...But she's a fraud and she's in prison".
Han-seok felt as if this was a nightmare. "So what you're saying was you told me to become a fraud, but I can't do that. I don't want to cause anymore trouble for you", Han-seo brushed off Han-seok's coat and fixed his tie.
Han-seok scoffed and stalked forward. "Do you really have a death wish?", he made himself looked intimidating.
Han-seo stumbled back with a gasp, then sighed frustratingly. "This is really exhausting", he said.
"Why would I die? This is all for your sake".
Han-seo grabbed his brother's hands and tightened the cuffs. Han-seok never ever imagine Han-seo would double cross him like this.
Han-seo clapped, alerting the prosecutors. "Take him", he said with a chuckle.
Han-seok went along, not believing his idiot brother's bold move today. As he walked out, Haru walked in and she casually waved at him. Han-seok turned to see Haru greeting his brother with a kiss.
"Jagiya~", Haru smiled.
"Gosh, I'm hungry. Shall we go and eat? You guys hungry?", he asked his staff.
