Teen Island

Riley's POV
Months ago
I was walking down the street just listening to music with my earbuds, when suddenly everything randomly went black. I woke up on a dock surrounded by a bunch of other confused looking kids. "Where are we?" I asked. "I don't know" a boy said. "Welcome newcomers and welcome to Teen Island!" a girl in armor plating walked up to us. "My name is Kallie and this is Teen Island. If you're here, its because you need to be. Teen island is for kids thirteen through nineteen who don't have any family or have a family that isn't good for them. Trust me, you will be happy here. Just don't hurt anyone and we'll be fine" she said. We walked around a hill and into a small community. Its surprisingly peaceful for a bunch of teens. It doesn't matter how cool this place is though, I have to get out. "Um Kallie, is there a way to leave teen island?" I asked. "Nope not unless you have a way of transport to leave" she said. "Ok" I said and she walked away. "Crap." I told myself.

Present day 
Retros POV
It was the middle of the night and we all got called into our parents live room. That doesn't happen often unless it's a holiday or an emergency. We walked in but only Zill, Astro, Cole, and Abigail were there. "Mom where's dad and the arrows?" I asked. "That's the problem" Astro said. "The arrows have been captured and taken to Teen Island" Zill says. "What?!" we said. "What's Teen Island?" Ella asked. "Its a place where only teens can go. Which is why we cant go get them" Cole said. "So you want us to do it?" Max asked. "Yes. I can get you there but I'm just your ride. Once you're there, you're on your own." Zill said. "Ok but can we shower first?" Addison yawned.

We took Riley's boat to teen island. A few months ago we got an email saying she went on vacation. She said that we had given her a chance to actually save her money and she wanted to use it. "Ok your parents are being kept in the jail in the castle. Good luck." Zill said. We got off the boat and walked up to the dock. There's a girl standing there with a spear. She looks bored. "Oh hi! Welcome to Teen Island. What can I do for you?" She asked. "Hi. We're just here on a visit. Can our adult escort stay on the boat at the dock?" Ella asked. "Yes, that's fine. As long as they stay on the dock" she said. "Thank you" Ella said and we walked past her. "We need to ask for directions." I said. "The people seem nice here. Let's just ask around." Ella suggested. Sky walked up to some guy holding a surf board. "Hey. I was wondering if you knew how to get to the castle from here?" She asked. "I don't know that the castles open today, but it's up there." He shrugged and pointed up a stone path. We looked up. "How didn't we see that?" I asked. "Thank you." Sky said, and we started up the path. 

Riley's POV
I saw the arrows come in from the dock. I was just out on patrol with my friend Hazel. "They're here for their parents. They're gonna get themselves killed. We gotta go back home" I said. "Why?" Hazel asked as I dragged her. "Because they saved me from poverty. I'm not gonna let them run straight into that death trap" I said. "How did they even get here?" Hazel asked. I looked back at the dock and then turned back to Hazel. "Bitches stole my boat" I said. "You have a boat?" Hazel asked shocked.

Retros POV
We made it in and found the jail. There's way to many guards for us. "What do we do now?" Ella asked. Before I could answer, a bunch of gun shots rang out and we all ducked. "That it?" I hear a girls voice. "Yeah. We're here. Where are your people?" I hear another girl. "They're here. I know it. Retro where are you? Don't worry its safe" a familiar voice called out. We all got confused and I peeked around the corner. "Riley?" I asked confused. We all ran up to her. "Who are they and what are you doing here? We thought you were on vacation" I said. "Wherever you got that was a lie. I've been trapped here for months. Oh! And these are the teen bandits, they are basically cops for teen island. This is their leader Emma. She's my girlfriend" Riley smiled. "You left for two months and got a girl? Damn!" I said. Emma and the bandits all have matching leather jackets and guns. Riley has a leather jacket but has her arrows. On the jacket is a capital B with a snake raveled through it. "Hate to break this up, but we gotta break out your parents now before more guards come" Emma said. The arrows and I ran into the dungeon and went to our parents.

"Dad!" I broke the lock. "Retro! What are you doing here?" he asked. "We're here to save you now lets go" I said. Everyone got their parents out and we left out through the throne room. "Emma Dune" a male voice echoed though the room and we all stopped. Emma turned around. "King Felix" she said calmly. "You're leader of the teen bandits and yet you dare to betray the island?" he asked. "No I didn't. I betrayed you. And you betrayed the island" she said. The bandits gasped. "Excuse me?" he asked. "You captured all these innocent adults for no reason whatsoever. Which breaks the number one rule of Teen Island. No adults under any circumstances" she snarled. "I have my reasons! And they don't concern you!" he yelled. "Hold up did you say Felix?" Gold asked. Emma turned to her. "Oh. We killed your family and now you want revenge. As an old villain myself, I tip my hat to you. Respect. But wouldn't that make you like twenty two?" gold says. He was stunned. "No! ...Guards!" he yelled. We readied our bows. "Oh don't bother. We got it." Emma said. The guards ran towards us. "Joey?" Emma turned to a girl with dog ears and a tail. Joey threw down a smoke bomb and when the smoke cleared there was a tall mutant girl with colorful fur. "She's a prankster" I said shocked. The power of pranks gives you a split personality. When they inhale the magic smoke bombs, they turn into their other side. The other side can be very dangerous because they can literally do anything they want. It's a rare ability to say the least. "Joker's the name actually" she said. She jumped at the guards and we stared in shock while Riley and the bandits just smiled. The guards stood no chance against her. "Get them out of here! I'll make sure you're not followed!" Joker said. The other bandits shoved us out.

Riley's POV
We're at the dock and I'm going back home with the arrows. "So I guess this is goodbye" I said. "Yeah, about that. I'm gonna go with you" Emma said. "Really?!" I exclaimed. "I'm all yours babe" she shrugged. I hugged her. "Thank god. I really didn't wanna leave without you" I said. Two of the other bandits came with us too. We all got on the boat and went back home.

We're back home. "So Emma do you have any family?" I asked. "Nope so I have to find a place to stay" she said. "Well then come with me. You can stay with me at arrows HQ. I already talked to the arrows about it." I said. "Babe I'm not being an arrow" she said. "You wont be, but you can still stay with us" I said. She smiled and nodded. "Of course I'll come with you" she said. I hugged her again. I'm so glad I met her. She's the only good thing teen island gave me.
