Gellert Grindelwald 8.

A/n no magic in this,a royalty a.u and the sub name for this is "My Dark Prince Charming" which is my nickname for Gellert.

I decided to get out of the castle for sometime to my self as it is getting to much for me. You see I'm at that point in my life when it is time for me to get married,my gran the Queen says I can choose whoever I want to be my future husband. Unfortunately my mother has said I have to pick one of the suitors from close by and the suitors...are not who I want to spend my life with. One is Lord Newton Scamander, a slightly strange man that has a passion for animals.

I think we are better off staying as friends, and then there is Albus Dumbledore,Duke of Hogwarts,he is quite boring and dull. He doesn't approve of my rule breaking and mischief. My mother likes him best but I don't. You see I would rather marry a man of my choice and who I care for as he does me,like my gran. My mother won't hear of it and insists...well basically an arranged marriage but where I choose the groom.

She reckons that when gran married it was easier for a love match,but for me it would be better to chose one of the two guys who are good on paper. I'm currently riding a grey mare gifted to me by Albus called Lula. I'm not fond of her but she will do. As we make our way threw the woods,I enjoy the piece away from the noise,but something small runs in front of Lula and she reared into the air. I don't have time to react as I am flung off her back and onto the floor.

I see Lula run off,and here someone approach as it goes black

Gellert's P.O.V
I am out taking my daily ride threw the woods on my jet black stallion Midnight, when I see a frightened grey horse run past us. Curious as to why the horse has no rider,I went to investigate. I got down off Midnight and walked further into the tree's, where I come across a H/c haired woman laying on the ground. I hurry to her side and crouch next to her. I can hear her breathing but she is out cold with a bit of blood on her head.

I move her hair away from the blood and see that she is very beautiful, I gently sit her up but notice that her arm is broken as it is at a weird angle. I take off my white tie and turn it into a makeshift sling for her arm. I then carefully pick her up and head back to my horse. I notice the Royal crest of the house of L/n on her boot,as I reach Midnight. Who crouched down so I can place the woman onto his broad back. I climb up behind her and Midnight stands back up and walks off
"Try to walk on flat ground,we don't want to hurt her further" I tell the horse.

I use my left arm to hold up her broken one and my right arm is around her middle to keep her in the saddle. Midnight and myself have a good enough trust for me to not need to hold the reins. Once clear of the woods the ground becomes clear and I tell Midnight
"Head for L/n castle" with that he heads in the right direction,just as the woman in front of me wakes up.

Y/n P.O.V
I wake up to see the head and neck of a black horse,I went to move but a deep voice says behind me
"Careful you don't want to hurt your self more" the voice is male and unknown to me
"What happened?" I ask
"I saw what I think is your horse run past,I went to see why and found you. Your arm is broken and you hit your head" the man tells me
"Where are you taking me?" I ask.

"Back to L/n castle,I saw the crest on your boot Midnight knows the way" the man says "How do you feel?"
"Apart from the two pains you said,I'm okay just a bit sore" I say"I must remember to tell Dumbledore about that horse of his"
"You know that pratt?" The man says in disgust
"My mother wishes me to marry him"

"Poor you" the man says,before I can ask why he said that we arrive back at the castle.My mother and Dumbledore come outside to see who has arrived
"Take your hands off the princess" Dumbledore says to the man
"What's the matter Bumbledore,jealous that I got closer than you ever have" the man taunts him
"Why are you here,your not welcome" Dumbledore spat at him
"What does it look like block head,I'm bringing the lady home as your horse threw her off" the man says beginning to sound angry.

"Prince Grindelwald is welcome here" the voice of my gran says
"So this man is a prince,I wonder why he isn't a suitor" I think
"My apologize for the unannounced arrival you majesty, but the princess is hurt" the Prince says to my gran
"Hurt,get her inside" gran says.

Midnight crouches down and the Prince slides off his back,before helping me off as well. He picks me up effortlessly and walks to the doors
"She can walk" Dumbledore says
"Just because you're to much of a wimp to carry the princess" the prince says,walking past him. He follows my gran into the living room and carefully put me down onto a sofa,as a doctor is called for.

I look at the prince and see that his horse has followed him,I giggle at this
"What's funny" the Prince asks me
"Your horse is behind you" I say,he looks and sees Midnight eating the apples in a bowl
"This is embarrassing" the Prince says"Your majesty,princess excuse me whilst I deal with my horse"once the prince had left,I turn to gran
"If he is a prince, why isn't he a suitor?"
"Because he is a dark prince" gran tells me.

"Dark prince?" I ask confused
"Yes that is how he is known. Apparently he lives alone and doesn't communicate with anyone" Gran tells me
"What is his name?"
"Prince Gellert Grindelwald, Lord of the Caribbean and Nurmenguardland" the man in question returns as does the doctor.

Gellert's P.O.V
I watch as the princess is made to feel better,I'm glad I took a different route today or I would have never found her. Once done the queen walks away with the doctor,leaving me alone with the princess
"Comfy enough?" I ask her
"Yes thank you, I hear you are prince Grindelwald" she says to me
"I am but you can call me Gellert,my dear"
"I am princess Y/n L/n"

"A beautiful name" I tell her and she blushed slightly
"How do you know Dumbledore?" Y/n asks,moving so I could sit beside her
"We grew up together, our parents where friends,but we fell out as teenagers and haven't got on since" I say
"He is a dull bastard anyway" Y/n says,I couldn't help but laugh at that.

Y/n P.O.V
The sound of Gellert's laughter is like music to my ears
"Is that block head your only suitor?" Gellert asks me
"No there is Lord Scamander,but he is more of a friend to me" I say,sadly my mother walked into the room
"I think you should leave" she says coldly to Gellert
"But mother..." I begun to protest.

"Don't worry princess, I know when I'm not wanted" Gellert says sadly. He takes my hand and kisses the back of it,before standing up and leaving the room
"Why did you have to be so rude to him?" I ask my mother angry
"Because he isn't welcome here,he is a dark prince daughter" mother says. I push my self to my feet and walk off
"Typical of my mother to get rid of the only decent man around" I say to my self.

Gellert's P.O.V
I head to the stable to collect my horse,but Dumbledore is there
"Don't come back here and stay away from Y/n" he says to me
"Do you wish me to fill your mouth with my boot" I say to him,mounting Midnight and walking off. I hadn't gone to far when the queen approached me
"Don't listen to the Duke,this is my castle and your more than welcome here" she says before walking off. I carry on my thoughts full of the beautiful princess.
