Johnny's P.O.V

I stood looking down at my guitar,I should be practicing with Alice and Joe for our upcoming TV appearance but my mind is else where. You see my long term friend and secret crush Y/n had texted me this morning saying that her boyfriend had run off with her best friend,who he is also the father of her children(the friend not Y/n). Y/n had thought he was away on a business trip but it turned out that the jerk couldn't work up the courage to tell her that he is leaving her,in the end the ex best friend told Y/n and in no uncertain terms blamed Y/n for her ex cheating.

"Johnny are you with us mate?" I hear Alice ask,I look up from my guitar and face my two friends
"I'm sorry guys,I'm just not with it" I said
"This isn't like you John,you love playing with us. What's up?" Joe asked
"It's Y/n I'm thinking about" I said" And not like that either,she texted me that her boyfriend ran off with her best friend six months ago and she only found out last night"
"Dickhead" Alice said"And this best friend...Jess ,i thought she was pregen..."Alice trialed off
"Yeah the father of Jess's baby is Connor" I said.

"I never liked Connor,but I didn't expect this from him" Joe said" I thought he loved Y/n"
"I thought so too,but if he truly loved Y/n he wouldn't have gone with Jess behind her back" I said setting my guitar down,and sitting down on the edge of the stage
"What will you do now John, didn't you want to tell Y/n how you feel?" Alice asked sitting on one side of me
"I wanted to tell her,but now I'm not sure I should " I said
"At least be there for her" Joe said sitting on the other side of me" Y/n needs you right now."

"We need to rehearse" I said
"Rehearse,why do we old farts need to rehearse for" Alice said" We will be all right,go and be with Y/n"
"If your sure?" I asked
"We are" Joe said" Now go"

Y/n's P.O.V

I sat on the sofa unsure what to do with myself,I hadn't even got dressed today. My emotions are all over the place,I want to cry because Connor is gone and I blame myself but I'm also angry at Jess because she was the one to tell me to go on the date with Connor in the first place. If she liked him so much why didn't she go out with him instead,why drag me into all of this. I guess being friends since we where five years old meant nothing to Jess,not when it came to Connor it doesn't.

At that moment the door bell rang,I pulled my self to my feet and slowly walked to the door and answered it. To my suprise my now only long term friend Johnny Depp is stood there
"Hi Y/n I know you probably want to be alone right now..."Johnny began but I just pulled him into a hug
"I'm glad you're here Johnny" I said into his shoulder
"I'm here for you sweetie"Johnny said.

Johnny's P.O.V

We made our way into the living room and sat down on the sofa,Y/n sat on my lap and I wrapped my arms around her. I tried to keep calm with Y/n sitting on me,but it's hard to with how much I love her. We sat in silence for some time,Y/n playing with my necklaces. I wanted to say something but I'm not sure what
"I don't know what to feel right now" Y/n said breaking the silence
"What do you mean sweetheart?" I asked looking down at her
"I'm angry at what Connor and Jess have done but at the same time I feel sad inside knowing that it's my fault this has happened" Y/n said.

"None of this is your fault Y/n"I told her" From what I have seen of your relationship,you have been the been the best partner a man could ask for"
"If I was that good,why did he sleep with Jess?" Y/n asks sitting up and looking at me
"Because Connor was a fool,he couldn't see how truly amazing you are and how lucky he was to call you his" I said angry" You did so much for him,and yet he still broke your heart"
"I got him a job where I work,I helped him to get a place to live and even introduced him to my own friends " I said" And Jess was the one who told me to ask him out."

"Connor never deserved you as a girlfriend " I said" You deserve someone that will love you and treat you properly."
"Know someone like that?" Y/n asked
"Yes,me" I said.

Y/n's P.O.V

I looked at Johnny in shock,I hadn't expected him to say that
"You but..." I said
"I have been in love with you since the moment we first met" Johnny said" I couldn't work out how to tell you to begin with,but when I did you where already with Connor"
"That was my birthday five years ago" I said" Why didn't you tell me?"
"You where already happy with Connor,you didn't need some old guy telling you he loves you." Johnny said
"You watched me being happy with someone else, whilst it broke your heart" I said.

"It did break my heart when you said you and Connor where together,I wanted to tell you that I loved you but I choose not to. You where already happy you didn't need me" Johnny said looking into my eyes" I could see Connor made you happy and that's all I wanted "
"I'm sorry Johnny I never meant to hurt you " I said
"You didn't hurt me Y/n,you just didn't know how I felt" Johnny said" I'm glad you finally know the truth"
"What do we do now?" I asked
"You know how I feel,what you do next is up to you"Johnny said.

"Well I have technically been single for six months now, so it would be okay "I said
"Okay to do what?" Johnny asked curiously
"To kiss you" I said blushing slightly
"You want to kiss me?" Johnny asked
"I've always wanted to,I mean who doesn't want to kiss Johnny Depp?" I said
"You do have a point, people do seem to find me handsome though I can't understand why" Johnny said
"So can I kiss you?" I asked
"I won't say no" Johnny said,we leaned  in and our lips connected in a gentle kiss.
