Emma, (Y/n), and Michael were going snorkeling with Emma's siblings and their families. Michael was with his cousins and they were talking on the boat while Emma was putting sunscreen on.

She handed the sunscreen to Michael next, and he put it all over himself. "(Y/n), you should put some on." Emma advised, and he shook his head. "I'll be fine, I'm not that affected by the sun." He dismissed, and Emma pestered him a bit further, but he refused each time. "You're sure you don't want the sunscreen? You might need it." She asked for the final time. "I will be fine. I'm not going to get a sunburn." He dismissed, and she just nodded in acceptance.

Eventually they had gotten to their destination and everyone got ready. They put on all their snorkel equipment and got in the water.

There were many turtles and quite a few fish who like to surround the turtles. Michael saw a few turtles up close since they came up to breathe right next to him. He was always good with animals and most of the animals liked to be around Michael.

After an hour or so, they had to get back on the boat and go back to shore. Everyone took off their equipment, and Emma and Michael didn't get sunburned. (Y/n) on the other hand was a different story.

He had a bad sunburn. His whole body was red except for where his goggles were on his face. His feet weren't sunburnt since he had flippers on, but he looked like a tomato, much redder then a tomato actually. He had hidden from Emma since she was trying to get a picture and kept laughing at him.

"Michael, if you get a picture of his sunburn I'll make your curfew eleven pm instead of ten from now on." Emma whispered to him, and he nodded. "Deal. What about a video?" He negotiated. "Deal. If you get a picture or video I'll make your curfew at eleven." She confirmed, and he went over to where his father was.

"Hey dad!" Michael yelled, walking to where his father was standing, his camera capturing his sunburn. "No. Get that phone away from me." He commanded, trying to grab it. "Okay, why? Cause of your sunburn?" Michael asked, turning the camera into selfie mode and showing it his dads sunburn from above his head, also giving a peace sign to the camera. "Stop it! No videos or pictures! Go back to your mum!" He groaned, making him leave.

He walked back to his mother and showed her the video, and sure enough his curfew was extended and (Y/n) would have a really weird tan for the rest of the vacation.

"I told you to use sunscreen." Emma told him, and he rolled his eyes. "I get it! I'm not talking about this anymore. I'm leaving." He dismissed and walked off, leaving Emma, who was laughing her head off. Eventually she caught up to him and gave him some aloe for his sunburn.

Emma also posted the video on her Instagram, everyone sharing the video on different social media's. The video was very popular, and (Y/n) was very mad at Emma for posting it, but it was too late to take it down.

Eventually everyone stopped talking about it and just continued their vacation, (Y/n) making sure to use lots of sunscreen whenever he was in the sun.

(Based on a somewhat true story cause my sunburn isn't that bad.)
