The next day Michael kept asking for his mother, so (Y/n) texted Emma to see if Michael could go see her. She had agreed and Florence took him over to their house.
"Mummy!" Michael shouted, hugging her legs when she opened the door. "Hi baby." She cooed, picking him up and bringing him into her arms, ignoring Florence's glare on her. "Michael, sweetie, why don't you go upstairs to your room and we will be up soon?" Florence asked sweetly as if she wasn't going to yell at Emma. Michael got out of his mothers arms and ran upstairs, leaving the two alone.
"What the hell Emma?! Spending more time with Tom rather than your own family?! What the hell is wrong with you! (Y/n) is right. Tom is in love with you, he's a home wrecker! You hurt my brother! For what? What was the point? You could do much better than even being friends with Tom! And Michael! He's roped into all of this! You need to fix this, and fast." Florence yelled, with Emma just standing there.
"Tom and I are just friends! Where is (Y/n) anyway?" Emma asked impatiently. "He's out with Hailee." Florence responded, sitting down on the couch. It was clear she was not leaving. "Hailee? Who's Hailee?" Emma asked again, now more nervous than before. "My costar. Michael loves her, she was over yesterday when they got there and he got to play with her for a few minutes." Florence informed her, knowing she would be jealous.
She opened her phone and searched up (Y/n) and Hailee, seeing many different paparazzi pictures pop up. The first thing she noticed was how close they were. "Oh my god.." she mumbled, turning her phone off. She didn't like seeing them together at all.
Over the next few weeks Emma continued to hang out with Tom, and (Y/n) hung out with Hailee. Their potential breakup was everywhere, and they didn't even know if they had broken up. They both just kept their distance. The only reason they kept in contact was so Michael could see his mother.
"So Emma, are you and (Y/n) still together?" Tom asked, and Emma shrugged. "Don't know. We haven't been talking." She responded, and Tom smirked. "Well, I'm available if you want to go out with me. I think we're meant for each other, wouldn't you say so?" He asked, and Emma did a double take. "No! I'm married! (Y/n) is my husband! Oh my god, he was right about you." She shouted, getting up from her spot. She needed to apologize and fast.
"Emma! Come on! You and him haven't talked in weeks! It's basically over!" Tom shouted after her. "No! I'm going to fight for my family! I won't let you ruin it more than you already have! I don't want to see you ever again! You disgust me Thomas Andrew Felton! I hate you! Don't call me and don't text me! " She shouted, ending the conversation there.
"Hi (Y/n), hi Michael!" Emma smiled when she saw them, letting Michael run inside. "Listen (Y/n), we need to talk. You were right." Emma started, and he nodded. "He asked you out didn't he?" (Y/n) asked, and she nodded. "I don't want Tom, I want you. You're my husband and the only person I want to spend the rest of my life with." Emma explained. "I believe you. I love you." (Y/n) whispered, pressing his lips onto hers. She wasted no time in kissing him back, savoring the moment. "Come back home, please." She whispered, and he nodded. "What about Hailee? What's her deal?" She asked, and (Y/n) went wide eyed.
"Hailee and I are just friends Emma." He told her, and she shook her head. "But you two were so close in all of those photos! She's in love with you!" She argued. "Now you know what it's like." He whispered. "Don't worry, Hailee and I are just friends. Michael loves playing with her, there's no need to worry." He added, being quick to reassure her.
(Y/n) went off to go tell Hailee the news of him and Emma getting back together. He knocked on her door and she answered it quickly. "Hey (Y/n)!" She smiled. "Hey, can I talk to you? It's important." He asked, and she nodded and let him inside.
"Listen, Emma and I fixed our argument. So, I was just letting you know cause people think we're dating with all of those paparazzi photos. I didn't mean to lead you on or anything, but my family comes first. And Emma is my family. We can be friends if you like, I know Michael loves having sleepovers with you. But I was just letting you know." He explained, and she nodded.
"You weren't leading me on. We were friends, we still are friends. I know how much Emma and Michael mean to you, and I'm perfectly fine with still being friends. Don't worry, Michael will still be able to have all the Hailee time he wants." Hailee reassured him, and they shared a hug before he left.
When (Y/n) came back to the house, he sat on the couch next to Emma while Michael played with his toys on the coffee table. "I love you, so so much." He mumbled to her, kissing her cheek. "I love you too. I'll never let something like this happen to us again." She promised, now kissing him on the lips.
They spent the rest of the day as a family, making up for the last few weeks. They had done it, they got their happy ending, and they couldn't be happier. Everything truly had worked out.
