Today was Mother's Day and (Y/n) and Michael were determined to make it the best Mother's Day for Emma.

They both woke up early and made a Mother's Day breakfast which consisted of eggs and pancakes. While (Y/n) put the food all on one plate and brought it up, Michael went and got his gift for her.

"Happy Mother's Day!" Both of them shouted, Emma waking up at the noise. She sat up on the bed, her back leaning against the headboard. (Y/n) placed the breakfast next to her, and then he ran off to get his gift.

Michael sat down on the bed next to Emma and gave her a hug, resting his head on her shoulder. She pressed a kiss to his cheek and started eating her breakfast.

"Okay! I got my gift!" (Y/n) announced, bringing in a box. "Mines better." Michael told his mum, and she just nodded. "Well, we will find that out once I open them both." She shared, not taking any side. She opened (Y/n)'s present, revealing the gift.

He had gotten her two things, a shirt with her and (Y/n) printed on it, and one with her and Michael on another one. "Do you love it or do love it?" He asked, and she nodded. "I love it." She smiled. She would never wear them out in public, but she did love the shirts. She thought they were cute.

"Okay! Open mine!" Michael told her, placing another box in front of her. She opened the box and it was a book, but not just any book. It was a family album.

She flipped through the book, seeing photos of her and Michael from when he was born up until now, smiling brightly at the effort, knowing he had made this by hand. She gave Michael a big hug, pressing kisses all over his face. (Y/n) smiled at the sight, knowing Michael's gift was better than his and Emma would love the photo album much more than shirts with her face plastered on them.

(Y/n) sat down on the other side of Emma and they looked through the book together. "Look how cute you were!" Emma cooed, showing him the picture from when he was born. "Yeah, no thank you. I look like an alien or something." He commented. "Than why did you even put them in here?" Emma asked. "Cause I know they're your favorites." He responded, turning the page for her.

They flipped through the book and looked at the photos. There were a few selfies he had found on Emma's Facebook and printed them out, there were pictures from family photoshoots Emma made them do, pictures of them playing with Michael's toys when he was little, vacation pictures, and a personal favorite picture of Emma's which was of Michael and her on a ski trip when he was ten all bundled up and ready to go down the mountain.

Once they finished looking through the photo album they all got ready for the day and went out for a bit. They went to Emma's favorite art museum and then got some lunch. After having lunch they all went for a walk and then got back home for a few hours of rest before going out to dinner.

"Best Mother's Day ever." Emma commented, their food arriving. They were at one of Emma's favorite restaurants and this had been one of the best days she's ever had. She gave (Y/n) a kiss, and it escalated a bit while Michael just sat there and tried to look at anything but his parents. He couldn't take the tension anymore and cleared his throat and the two parents quickly broke apart.

Emma gave Michael a quick kiss on the cheek and they ate their food, nobody really talking. Once they finished their food the tension had died down and they were in a deep conversation as they left.

Once they got home Michael went to bed and (Y/n) and Emma finished their moment that had ended abruptly at dinner. Emma really did have the best Mother's Day ever.
