Michael was sitting at the kitchen table with Emma and drawing with her. Emma was watching him draw and his drawing happened to be a drawing of her. She had enjoyed watching him draw her, even if it looked nothing like her and Michael even gave her neon blue hair. (Y/n) had came in just as he had finished.

"I finished! Mummy look!" Michael told her, holding up the picture of Emma. "I love it! It looks very good!" Emma praised, making him smile even wider. "That is a very funny drawing Michael. Do you want to keep drawing?" (Y/n) asked while Emma glared at him for laughing at his drawing of her, and Michael nodded. He handed two pieces of paper to his parents and they all shared his crayons.

Emma and (Y/n) started drawing with him and everything was going well until (Y/n) commented on Emma's drawing. "I can draw better than you." He teased. "Do you want to make it a competition?" She smirked, and then Michael clapped. "Yeah!" He agreed, and now Michael was in their competition.

Everyone started drawing so far there was no clear winner yet. Emma was drawing a city, (Y/n) was drawing a house, and Michael was drawing his family. Emma peeked over to see what Michael was drawing, and she smiled once she saw what it was. Michael had drawn a drawing of his family drawing all together with the words 'best family ever!' Written in green crayon and with a few letters written incorrectly.

(Y/n) looked over to see Michael's drawing too, and liked what his son drew the most. Emma and (Y/n) both looked at each other and both decided to declare Michael the winner.

"Michael! You won!" Emma told him, stroking his hair while he cheered. "Yay! I win!" He shouted before doing a happy dance, which was mostly him just jumping up and down. "Yay!!" He cheered again, and this time (Y/n) joined in.

The two did a happy dance while Emma watched with a smile. Soon enough (Y/n) grabbed Emma's hands and her phone and let her go dance with Michael while (Y/n) played some music and the mother and son danced together.

"Come dance with us!" Michael told his dad, bringing him over to where they were dancing. The three had a dance party, ending the drawing competition. Before Michael took a nap, Emma took a picture with Michael holding up his drawing, and (Y/n) could be seen in the corner of the photo just smiling at Michael and she made that photo her Home Screen. She also took a picture of his drawing before placing it on the fridge.

Once she finished sending the pictures of the drawing he drew to everyone, Michael had to take a nap. (Y/n) went to take him upstairs and didn't come back downstairs after half an hour.

Emma went up to go check on them and saw the two of them asleep in Michael's very small bed. (Y/n) was practically falling out of bed, and Michael was resting comfortably with his thumb tucked in his mouth and using his father's arm as a pillow. Emma took a picture of the two of them asleep and posted it on her private Facebook with the caption 'Afternoon naps are the best! #sundayfunday #michael #sundaynaps #lazyday'

She turned off her phone and turned off the lights before leaving the room, letting the two sleep. She went back downstairs and looked through her photo albums for a while, looking at fun memories while the two boys were sleeping. It was the perfect ending to their afternoon, and Emma couldn't wait for when they woke up so they could make more fun memories together.
