Emma had recently began spending more time with Tom, since they had became friends again. (Y/n) still hated Tom, but he learned to be civil for Emma.

Today was one of those days where Emma had gotten home late because she was busy with Tom. It had happened a few times before, and (Y/n) knew Tom was in love with her. The only problem was she didn't know that.

"I saw you with him." (Y/n) stated, talking about the paparazzi pictures with Tom. "Who?" Emma asked, not thinking of the day she had with Tom. "Tom, you know how I feel about him." (Y/n) mumbled. "Oh my god, get over yourself! He's my friend! You're not ten years old anymore, grow up." Emma exclaimed.

"So I have to be ten years old to be jealous of the guy who gets to spend every waking moment with my wife?! My wife who doesn't even spend time with her husband and her son!" (Y/n) shouted sarcastically, making Emma roll her eyes. "That's really how you feel?" Emma asked while glaring at him. "Yes. That is exactly how I feel." He nodded.

"I haven't been spending more time with him than you or Michael. When will you get it through your extremely thick skull to realize that Tom and I are just friends and you and Michael are my family and always will be!" Emma shouted, both of them forgetting Michael was asleep upstairs. "Really? Well I don't see it that way!" (Y/n) argued. "Well then open your eyes." She muttered.

"You know for someone I thought was the smartest person I know, you're being really stupid." (Y/n) whispered harshly, remembering Michael was upstairs. "He sees me as a friend! As a little sister!" Emma shouted, running a hand through her hair.

Suddenly her phone started to ring, making them both look over. "Oh it's Tom, choose him over your family once again. Pick it up, if he asks you to hang out I will leave, and I will take Michael with me." (Y/n) seethed. Emma picked up the phone and put it on speaker.

"Hey emma, do you want to hang out tomorrow? Just you and me?" Tom asked, and (Y/n) went upstairs without another word. "I would love to Tom! Let's hang out as friends do!" Emma told him, making sure (Y/n) could hear it.

(Y/n) opened the door to Michael's room and picked up the sleeping boy, grabbing a few things for him and putting it in a spare backpack.

"Where are you going?" Emma asked, seeing (Y/n) carrying Michael with a bag. "To Florence's house. Feel free to invite him over." (Y/n) told her. "It's not like that!" Emma exclaimed, but it was too late since (Y/n) had already closed the door shut and put Michael in his car seat.

He started to drive to Florence's house, calling her before he arrived. "(Y/n)? What's up?" Florence asked. "Can Michael and I come over?" He asked, still focused on the road. "I have Hailee over right now, why?" She asked, growing a bit nervous. "I'll explain when we get there. Emma and I had a nasty fight, don't know if we're gonna last." He summed it up, and Florence's heart dropped. She knew how happy Emma had made him, and she couldn't even imagine how he was feeling. "Yeah, come over. You can stay as long as you need." She agreed.

Once they got to Florence's house, (Y/n) brought Michael inside. "What happened?" Florence asked, taking Michael from her brother. "Hi Hailee. Sorry to interrupt." (Y/n) apologized, and Hailee shook her head. "It's fine, do you need me to watch him while you two talk?" She offered, and he nodded. By now Michael was starting to wake up. He said a quick thank you before Florence pulled him aside into another room.

"What happened?" She asked, getting angrier at Emma by the second. "Emma's been hanging out with Tom and spending less and less time with us. When I brought it up she freaked and said they were just friends, but everyone knows toms in love with her! Well, everyone except her at least." (Y/n) grumbled. "What are you going to do?" Florence questioned, making (Y/n) shrug. "Don't know, but I can't keep Michael away from her for too long. They'll both go crazy." He whispered.

"For now, get some sleep and just see how you feel tomorrow. You can stay here with Michael." Florence offered, and he nodded. "Thanks flossie. I love you. " He whispered, giving her a tight hug. "Love you too." She mumbled back.

When (Y/n) walked back into the living room, Michael was awake and showing Hailee his Spider-Man toys that he kept at Florence's house. He sat down next to his son and watched as Michael played with his toys before telling him he needed to go to bed.

"But I'm not tired! I wanna play with Hailee!" Michael groaned wrapping his arms around her neck, and Hailee laughed. "You gotta go to bed Michael, that way you can play with your toys again tomorrow." Hailee agreed, sending (Y/n) a smile.

It was no surprise that Hailee had a tiny crush on (Y/n), he was her celebrity crush growing up and still was to this day. Sure they had a bit of an age gap, five years, but she didn't mind it.

Once (Y/n) had gotten Michael to bed, he came back out to the living room to see Florence and Hailee still talking. Florence went to go clean the kitchen up, leaving Hailee and (Y/n) alone.

"How old is Michael?" Hailee asked, sending (Y/n) another smile. "Three, turning four in November." He answered, checking his phone for texted from Emma, seeing a few but only about how he can't keep Michael away from her. "He's a cutie." She added, trying to keep the conversation going. "He is, he looks exactly like Emma. But he has my eyes." He mumbled, sending Hailee a small smile.

After another half hour of the two talking to each other, they exchanged numbers since they had fun together. They were just friends, but (Y/n) knew he would be seeing a lot more of her since Michael wanted to play with her tomorrow and have a sleepover with her.

For now, (Y/n) was more than ready to get some sleep, hoping that he could somehow fix his relationship with Emma. But it wasn't up to him right now, it was wether Emma wanted to fix things or not.

(Defo a part two coming up! Should (Y/n) and Emma fix things or should they split up for good?? Hmmm...)
