(Y/n), Emma, and Michael were all at the beach today. They were on vacation and decided to spend the day at the beach, just by themselves. They were vacationing with Emma's parents and her siblings and their families, but for today it was just the three of them.
Emma made herself comfortable and took out her book, Michael had decided to do some surfing, which he was actually really good at, and (Y/n) wandered off and went to look for crabs.
Everyone did their own thing for a bit before having some lunch. They ate their lunch together, (Y/n) telling everyone how he saw some crabs. They parted ways once again, Emma and (Y/n) going for a walk on the beach, and Michael joining a game of beach volleyball, another thing he was quite good at.
On (Y/n) and Emma's walk, he saw a few more crabs. They weren't that far from the water, so most of the waves were able to get to them.
Nothing bad had happened, until (Y/n) got stung by a jellyfish "Ow!" He cried, seeing his foot turn red. "Oh my god, why does this always happen to you?" Emma asked, watching to see if his foot was swollen. "I don't know!" He responded in a tone that meant that was not the right time to ask that question. "Okay, well we should probably take you to the hospital!" She decided, taking him back to their stuff and packing up. (Y/n) called the ambulance, and Emma went to go get Michael.
"Michael! We have to go!" Emma called, Michael still involved in his game. "Can't! Not finished!" He dismissed, still very involved in his beach volleyball game. "Get over here! We don't have time for this!" She called out again, and he still didn't move.
"I'll meet you there! Just send the directions and I'll call an Uber! They have those here right?" He told her, and she started to lose her patience. "Michael! Just come on!" She told him, and it only took one glare from his mother and he walked right off the court. He said goodbye to his teammates and walked over to his mother.
"What's going on?" He asked, seeing his father get put on an ambulance. "He got stung by a jellyfish. Put your shirt on and get in the car. We have to meet him at the hospital." She explained, the ambulance rushing off. They packed up their stuff and put it in the car, driving off to the hospital.
Once they got there, they found (Y/n)'s room. "The doctor said I have to stay the night and see if anything changes." He told them. They sat in the chairs by the bed for a few minutes before Michael stood up. "I'm going to go get some food. I'll be right back." He explained, walking out of the room.
He decided to get his father something to eat as well. He picked out something he knew that (Y/n) would love and bought it before going back to the room.
When he got back, the doctor was talking to both of his parents, so he just sat down and went on his phone. Once the doctor left, Michael handed (Y/n) the food. "Thanks." (Y/n) mumbled, salty that he had to be here. In his opinion, he was fine and could leave. In the doctors opinion, he should stay a bit longer.
Emma's brother Alex and his family picked up Michael a few hours later, per Emma's request. He was going to enjoy the night with his cousins while Emma stayed with (Y/n).
While Michael was out getting sushi with his cousins, (Y/n) and Emma were playing card games in the hospital room. Everyone had fun, and (Y/n) had to admit it was nice to have some alone time with Emma, even with the circumstances they were in. He loves Michael, but sometimes he wanted time alone with his wife.
Michael had fun with his cousins at the sushi restaurant, and going out in the city for a bit. They went to a few stores and got some new clothes as well, before Michael went back to the hotel and got ready for bed.
The next morning, (Y/n) was good to go and left the hospital. They went out for breakfast and everyone enjoyed their meal, and once they were done they met up with Emma's family, ready to spend the day together.
