(Y/n) had decided to surprise Emma with a nice visit. She was filming in LA while (Y/n) was in London, and he thought it would be nice to surprise her. She had been acting off lately, ignoring his calls and not responding to his texts, but maybe she was just busy? Well, she was. But most definitely not what kind of busy (Y/n) was expecting.

He got off his flight and got an Uber to Emma's house, thanking the driver once he got his stuff out of the car. He walked up the front steps, opening the door with the key he had.

"Emma?" (Y/n) called out, nobody answering. "Em? You here?" He asked again, not receiving an answer. He heard something coming from upstairs, so he went to go look.

He walked up the stairs, the noises getting louder. He was growing a bit nervous, starting the get the idea she was cheating on him, and that was confirmed once he walked into the bedroom.

There it was, Emma and some guy he didn't know in bed together, very busy with what they were doing and didn't even notice him enter.

"What the hell?!" (Y/n) shouted, both of them pulling apart and looking at him. "(Y/n)..." Emma mumbled, putting the blankets over her. "Really? Was I not good enough that you had to do this? You couldn't just break up with me? Don't say you don't know what you were thinking and you didn't mean to, cause you very well know what you were thinking and what you meant to do when you stopped answering any of my calls and texts and proceeded to do it with him. Do you even know him?" (Y/n) told her coldly, a glare etched on his face.

"No...but come on! We can work this out!" Emma protested, (Y/n) shaking his head. "First of all, you get out of my house." He commanded, pointing to the unknown guy. He got up and left, putting his clothes on in the process.

"We're over Emma. Don't call me, don't text me, stay away from me. I'm done with you. And get out of my house!" He muttered through gritted teeth, Emma shaking her head. "(Y/n)! Please!" Emma pleaded, (Y/n) shaking his head. "No, you lost your chance when you decided to cheat on me." He whispered, his voice cracking. The world felt fuzzy, and he was met with darkness.

(Y/n) shot up from the bed, taking in the sight around him. He was in his London home, and all the lights were off. Emma was looking at him in worry, confused on what could've happened. "(Y/n)? Are you alright? I think you were having a nightmare." Emma asked, rubbing his back.

"Yeah, a nightmare. That's it." He whispered, wrapping his arms around her tightly. "Are you sure you're alright?" Emma asked again, hesitantly wrapping her arms around him as well. "Yeah, I'm fine. Great actually." He whispered, pressing kisses all over her face to assure him that his nightmare wasn't real. She never cheated on him, and it was just a nightmare. One that will never come true.

"Well, go back to sleep then. You need your sleep." Emma advised, pushing him back down on the bed. She lied back down as well, resting her head on his chest. He stroked her hair, his eyes growing heavy with every passing second.

"Goodnight Em, I love you. So much." He mumbled, his eyes closing. "I love you too (Y/n), so, so much. Sweet dreams." She whispered, her head leaving it's spot on her chest and kissing his chin before resting it back in its position.

(Y/n)'s dreams were peaceful and happy, Emma brightening his mood from their previous interaction. She would never leave him, or cheat on him. It was only a nightmare, one that would never be a reality.
