Emma had a meeting online for her feminist campaign, and (Y/n) would be watching Michael while she was busy.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?" Emma asked, placing Michael in his play area. "Yep. We're gonna have so much fun! You won't even know we're here." (Y/n) assured her, waving her off and she walked into her home office.

Her meeting started and she thought she had closed the door. She didn't fully close it, but she was too busy to notice.

Meanwhile (Y/n) and Michael were watching Tv, Michael more focused on his blocks than the movie playing. (Y/n) had been lying on the couch, his eyes slipping shut as the movie went on.

He had fallen asleep, and Michael had gotten bored of his blocks. Michael noticed his mother's office door peeking open, and decided to pay her a visit. He got up, only falling down once or twice, and slowly made his way to the door.

Once he got inside the office, Emma was talking about a future campaign idea she had, not noticing the small boy enter. He hobbled over to her, patting her leg so she would notice him.

"One second." She told her meeting, looking down to see Michael. She picked him up and sat him in her lap, trying to get back on track. Michael started blabbering to her, getting the attention of everyone else in the meeting.

"Is that Michael?" One of her managers asked, and Emma nodded. "Yes it is. He snuck in while we were talking." Emma told them with a smile, looking down at Michael and pressing kiss to the top of his head before smoothing out the small amount of hair on his head.

"Hi Michael!" Another one of her managers waved, and he stood up on Emma's lap, her helping him stand so he didn't fall or get hurt. His face became visible on the camera, everyone laughing at how he popped up on the screen. He waved to the camera and babbled something to them, none of them understanding what he said.

"He must've known we were talking about him. Didn't you baby?" Emma asked, and Michael tried to type on her computer, his mother stopping him. "(Y/n) is supposed to be watching him, but my best guess is he's asleep." Emma added, tickling Michael's stomach and making him giggle. "Well, he can stay if you want. But we do need to get back on track." Her manager stepped in, and she nodded.

Emma sat Michael down in her lap, continuing her meeting while Michael sat and played with the rings on her fingers. (Y/n) woke up a few minutes later, noticing Michael wasn't there. He searched the house apart from Emma's office, not finding him anywhere.

"Emma? Have you seen Michael?" (Y/n) asked, not seeing him on her lap. "He's right here." Emma told him, picking Michael up off her lap for (Y/n) to see. "Oh, perfect. Do you want me to take him?" He asked, and Emma nodded. "We should be done soon." Emma told him, getting up and hanging him Michael. She kissed both of their cheeks before they left, going back to her meeting.

"You always run off whenever I have to watch you. Now you stay here and play." (Y/n) told Michael, placing him back down and getting the blocks back.

While Emma was finishing up her meeting, (Y/n) and Michael were building block towers, and Michael liked knocking them down after he finished building them. Everyone had fun, and once Emma was finished with her meeting, (Y/n) wasn't sent to the couch for the night.
