Emma was going on a press tour for her new movie tomorrow, and Michael was not taking it very well. Ever since he found out she was leaving, he had been clinging to her at every possible moment, and had made his way into his parents room every night to cuddle with her. She was only going to be gone for a week, but that was a very long time for Michael to be away from his mother.

"Goodnight Michael." Emma whispered, kissing his forehead. She had ended up reading him three bedtime stories until he was satisfied and was ready for bed. He had refused to go to bed earlier so he could spend more time with her.

"Do you have to leave tomorrow?" He asked her, and she nodded sadly. "I have to baby, but I won't be gone for very long. I'll only be gone for seven sleeps. And then once I get back we can do anything you want together." She promised. "But I don't want you to leave..." Michael continued. "I know, but I have to. Now, you have to go to bed, and we can play in the morning before I leave." Emma whispered, stroking his hair. "Okay.. goodnight mummy." He whispered. "Goodnight, I love you." She responded, kissing his forehead one more time and leaving the room.

The next morning came by quickly, and Emma woke up in her bed with Michael in her arms, still fast asleep. Once Michael woke up they had breakfast and played with his cars for a few minutes before she had to leave.

"Okay Michael, mummy has to go now." Emma told him, giving him a hug. "But I don't want you to leave!" He cried, and she nodded. "I know you don't, but I have to. You can watch me on the Tv. And I'll only be gone for seven sleeps, just like I told you last night." She reassured, rubbing his back. "But that's a lot of sleeps." He told her, and she shook her head. "No it isn't. You'll have so much fun here that seven sleeps will be nothing and before you know it I'll be back!" She shared. "Promise?" He asked, and she nodded. "I promise. Now you be good okay? And once I get back we can do anything you want together." She promised. Michael nodded reluctantly and she kissed him all over his face before giving (Y/n) a goodbye kiss and getting in the car.

Michael watched her leave through the window and waved to her as she left, already sad she was  gone. "Alright, what do you wanna do today? We can do anything you want." (Y/n) asked but knowing Michael wouldn't give him an answer, and the boy shrugged. "I dunno." He answered. "Well then, how about we go to Disneyland?" (Y/n) offered, and Michael's mood brightened significantly. "Yeah!" He nodded, and his father chuckled at his enthusiasm. "Alright Michael, get your shoes on and let's go."

While Emma was away, (Y/n) and Michael were going to spend the week in San Diego and go to all of the amusement parks while she was gone. Today was Disneyland, and tomorrow would be universal studios with the two being accompanied by Michael's godmother, Bonnie, and then the rest of the week was legoland, sea world, and the San Diego zoo, also a trip with Bonnie. (Y/n) had planned this for a while now, knowing Michael would have fun and it would make it easier for him to be away from his mother for so long without being at the house.

Once the two arrived at Disneyland, they did everything Michael loved first. They went on the toy story rollercoaster and then the buzz lightyear astroblast, along with the incredibles rollercoaster first since those were Michael's top three favorites and he just had to do them right away.

(Y/n) made sure to send Emma pictures and updates, and she was very relieved to see Michael so happy and she was glad he was having fun. She knew her leaving would be hard on him, so she was glad he was enjoying himself.

"What ride do you wanna do next?" (Y/n) asked, and Michael had to think about it for a second. "Space mountain!" He answered, leaving his father surprised. Michael had never been brave enough to go on it before, so this would be his first time ever going on the ride. "Are you sure? That ones a bit scary, you might not like it." He questioned, and the boy only nodded in return, still wanting to go on the ride. "Alright, let's go then."

After a bit of waiting they finally got on the ride. Michael ended up loving it and they even went on it again before they got something to eat. "Which one do you want to go on next?" (Y/n) asked, and Michael had an answer immediately. "The dumbo one. That ones mummy's favorite. We have to go on all of mummy's favorite rides for her." Michael answered, and the two made their way to the dumbo ride.

Emma's heart swelled up with love when she found out Michael wanted to go on all her favorite rides for her. She had gotten a lot of pictures and videos of their time at Disneyland, and she was looking forward to more of them.

After going on a few more rides, Michael had gotten tired and they got some more food. They were supposed to see the fireworks show tonight, hopefully with Bonnie since she said that she would be able to have dinner with them and see the show, but (Y/n) wasn't sure if Michael was going to be able to make it that long.

However, after Michael had eaten a whole churro by himself, he had gained a lot of energy and was ready to go on even more rides. They went on the giant Ferris wheel next since they had done too many rollercoasters and needed a more relaxing ride, and Michael had loved being so high up in the air.

On their way to the next ride however, they ran in to Goofy from Mickey Mouse. (Y/n) had gotten a picture of Michael and goofy together, which quickly became Emma's phone background. Over the course of their trip, the father and son duo had taken many selfies together, and some of them were sent to Emma as well, who was very jealous she didn't get to come on this trip.

The two were about to have dinner, when Michael had a surprise visitor. "Bonnie!" Michael waved, getting up from his seat and going to hug Bonnie. "Hi Michael!" She greeted, wrapping her arms around him. (Y/n) knew she was coming for dinner and the fireworks, and he also knew Michael was going to love having her here as well. Bonnie sent (Y/n) a wave while Michael let her have the seat next to him as he told her all about their day.

"We went to the toy story rides! And the incredibles one too. And then we went on the dumbo one. That's mummy's favorite ride in Disney. And we went on space mountain! It wasn't very scary, just dark. And then I got to go on it again! Then we had lunch and I got to have Mac and cheese, and we went on the Ferris wheel too. Daddy said we had to go on that one because we did too many rollercoasters. And we saw goofy too! He was very nice and gave me a hug. And then we got churros, and then we went on the jungle boat one! There were lots and lots of animals. And now we're having dinner." Michael recalled their entire day, and Bonnie was listening very closely. "That sounds like a lot of fun. We're gonna have even more fun tomorrow when we all go to universal too." She shared, and Michael nodded. They ate their dinner a few minutes later, and Michael got to color on the kids menu as well.

By the time the fireworks started, Michael was staring to fall asleep. While the fireworks went off, Michael was watching intently seeing all the different patterns while cuddling up with Bonnie. Once the show was over, (Y/n) and Michael went to the hotel while Bonnie went home.

Michael ended up falling asleep on the way to the hotel, so once (Y/n) got checked into their room, he put Michael to bed immediately, before getting ready for bed and going to sleep, looking forward to another exciting day tomorrow.

(This is definitely my new favorite one!)
