Today was Michael's fifth birthday, and the one thing he loved most was Spider-Man. So Emma had the brilliant idea to surprise him with Spider-Man.

"Why do I have to do this?" (Y/n) groaned, putting the Spider-Man costume on. "It is our sons fifth birthday and all he wants is Spider-Man. And you love making him happy so you're dressing up as Spider-Man for him. I was the one who carried him for nine months and now you get to do this, you get the easy job. Use your acting skills, you are a professional for a reason." She told him, and he put on the costume.

Once he was fully in costume, Emma went outside and distracted Michael so (Y/n) could make his entrance. Michael was playing outside in the backyard with Florence and Bonnie, and Emma walked out to go play with them.

"Michael! Look who's here!" Emma whispered to him, and he turned around to see Spider-Man. "Mummy! Flo! Bonnie! It's Spider-Man! He's here!" Michael told the girls, running over to Spider-Man. Bonnie, Florence and Emma shared a smile, knowing fully well who was under the costume.

"Hi Michael!" Spider-Man waved and held his hand out for a high five, and Michael gave him a high five. "What are you doing here Spider-Man?" Florence asked. "Someone told me Michael was a big fan and it was his fifth birthday today, so I came to pay a visit and say hi to my biggest fan!" Spider-Man shared, glancing at Emma but nobody could see it under his mask.

Michael decided to give Spider-Man a tour of his room, and showed him all of his Spider-Man stuff. Emma was dying of a cuteness overload, and Florence and Bonnie were recording and taking pictures of most of it for Emma and (Y/n). "And this is my favorite Spider-Man book! Mummy reads it to me before bed every night." Michel told Spider-Man, and he nodded. "That's my favorite Spider-Man book too!" Spider-Man cheered, and Michael smiled.

After showing him absolutely everything he had that was related to Spider-Man, they went back outside and Michael showed him the small party. The only guests were Bonnie, Florence, his aunts, uncles, and cousins, both sets of his grandparents, and of course Spider-Man. "But all my cousins and grandma and grandpa aren't here yet. Mummy says they are coming soon." Michael told Spider-Man, and he sent Emma the signal for him being done.

An alarm in the background went off, and Michael turned to Spider-Man. "I have to go! There's a mission I need to do! Happy birthday Michael!" Spider-Man said before leaving, running out of the house. "Bye bye!" Michael waved goodbye to Spider-Man, and turned back to his mother. "He has to go save the world!" Michael told her, and she nodded. "He has very important things to do. You were very lucky he was able to come say happy birthday!" She told him. "Yeah!" He agreed.

(Y/n) walked back into the backyard a few minutes later, and Michael just noticed him. "You missed it! Spider-Man was here!" Michael told him, running over to his father. "He was?" (Y/n) asked, faking a look of shock. "Yeah! He was here! And he said happy birthday to me! And I got to show him my Spider-Man toys!" Michael shared, (Y/n) listening to every single word. "That sounds very fun. You must have been very lucky." (Y/n) commented. "That's what mummy said." Michael mumbled, going back to playing with Florence and Bonnie.

Once the party ended and everyone had left, Michael couldn't stop talking about seeing Spider-Man. Both (Y/n) and Emma were happy he enjoyed seeing Spider-Man, even though they knew his real identity.

When Michael went to bed that night, he was wearing his Spider-Man pajamas and had his Spider-Man blanket and stuffed toy Spider-Man with him, Emma reading him his bedtime story, but he wasn't very interested in the book and more on talking about his visit from Spider-Man. Emma had a smile on her face the entire time, knowing (Y/n) had single handedly made this the best birthday for Michael, and the boy didn't even realize it was his father.

Once Michael fell asleep, Emma left the room and went into her and (Y/n)'s room, sitting down on the bed next to her husband. "He wouldn't stop talking about how Spider-Man came and visited him. It's safe to say that was his favorite part of the whole day." Emma whispered, connecting their lips in a kiss. (Y/n) happily kissed back, and the two only pulled apart for oxygen. "I'm glad he liked it then." He whispered back. The two parents went to bed shortly after, Emma cuddling into (Y/n) as they slept.

This was Michael's favorite birthday ever, and nothing could change his mind. He really did love his visit from Spider-Man, and he couldn't wait for another visit.
