Punch (2)

After the family arrived home from the reunion, Emma was a mess. She had a lot of emotions built up and didn't quite know how to release them all, and ended up taking it out on her family.

"What the hell was that?!" She shouted, taking both Michael and (Y/n) by surprise since they had just walked into the house. "He deserved it!" Michael defended, trying to get out of being yelled at. "I know he deserved it but you punched him! Michael do you understand what you did?! You've only gotten yourself into trouble! You know what he does! He's going to twist the story and make you look worse and make himself look better!" Emma explained, clearly letting her anger out.

"No he won't! He can't! The whole cast was there, they saw it. They'll defend me! Matt and Alfred saw the whole thing, and James recorded it! There's evidence to prove my side and there isn't any to prove his!" He reasoned, (Y/n) sitting back and observing the scene unfolding. He would intervene only when he thought he needed to.

"Do you think he will care? No! He has it out for you! I don't want him to keep saying these things about you! It's not fair! You're a good kid and everyone knows it, but he's going to try to get people to hate on you!" She continued, quite frankly she was making good points, but Michael still didn't really care about whatever Tom was going to do.

"Yeah, exactly. Everyone knows I'm a good kid, that's why nobody will believe him. Besides, all of his fans already hate me. Not much I can do to change their minds, seeing as they don't want to me exist." He mumbled, Emma's next emotion being shown, sadness.

"Don't you think I know that? He has a lot of fans, and they all hate you for no reason! How do you think that makes me feel? My son has been hated on by Tom and his fans ever since he was born! You haven't done anything wrong and they all hate you! You get death threats! It isn't okay! It's never been okay! He's had it out for you the minute you were born, and this is only adding onto his things to say about you. This is only going to make things worse, I love you so much and I just don't want to see you get hurt. I don't want you to get hated on anymore." She rambled, her voice breaking and she burst into tears.

At this point Michael immediately felt bad for his mother. He hated seeing her cry, and knowing he was the reason made him feel much worse.

"Em, it's okay. He has many fans that love him, many more than Tom has, and you love him more than anyone. Everything's going to be okay. The fans we have are going to know the real story, and nobody is going to believe Tom." (Y/n) stepped in, sitting next to her and rubbing her back. Michael wrapped his arms around her, giving her a hug. "I'm sorry mum, really. Maybe punching him wasn't the best choice, but he deserved it." He apologized, only hugging her tighter.

After a few minutes, she had calmed down and returned the hug, making Michael smile. "I know he deserved it, but it probably wasn't the best choice for you to do it. We should've only let your father do it, he knocked him out. But I just don't want to see Tom and his fans go after you. You know he's going to say something." She told him, not letting him go. While the two were having their moment, (Y/n) went to go order their Chinese food.

"I know. But I think I can handle it. I mean, I know the real story. As long as people know the real story I could care less about him or his fans." He admitted, (Y/n) walking back inside the room and joining in on the hug. Once they hugged it out, they waited for their food and spent the rest of the night on the couch, watching movies together.

Sure enough, Tom did say some incredibly twisted version of the story, in which every Harry Potter cast member shared the real video, in which Tom is shown clearly starting it.

A few fans came to their senses and stopped supporting him, making Emma, (Y/n) and Michael very happy. Even Dan managed to share the video and make a statement, and he doesn't even have social media. In the end, most people knew the real story, and everyone enjoyed seeing Michael and (Y/n) punch Tom.
