(Y/n), Oliver, and Florence were all having a barbecue party since it was summertime. They decided to host a pool party and have a lot of barbecue food since it was finally summer.

Emma was upstairs with Michael getting him into his floaties and swimsuit while Oliver was setting up the grill, (Y/n) was getting the pool toys out for everyone, and Florence was setting up the decorations.

Emma invited her entire family. Her brothers and sisters and their families all said they would go, and Florence's dog Billie was here too. Billie was busy sitting by the grill in hopes she could get some food that dropped, but nothing had fallen for her yet.

Once everything was set up guests started showing up one by one. First was Alex and his family, then Emma's two sisters and then Olivers wife. They all hugged (Y/n) and Emma before getting right into the pool. Michael and Nina were swimming in the pool together while (Y/n) and Emma were greeting everyone, since they were using their house for the pool party.

Michael was splashing in the water and giggling everytime he did it. Nina was just supervising and making sure he didn't drown. Harrison, Anna, and Mia were all playing with diving sticks and popping back up every so often to throw them back down in different places.

While everyone was having fun, three uninvited people had came by. Thomas, Mary and Hannah (L/n), (Y/n), Oliver and Florence's parents and sister.

After the three siblings were shunned by their parents and Hannah for their entire childhood and teenage years, they had never spoken to them. Once they moved out they never made contact again, so it was shock when they saw their estranged family walk in.

"What are they doing here?" Oliver asked (Y/n), since it was his house. "I don't know. I don't know how they even have my address. I haven't spoken to them in years." (Y/n) answered. "You! Take my bags!" Hannah pointed to Oliver. "No? Why are you here? None of us want you here! All of you!" Oliver responded, taking all of the guests by surprise. Oliver was never one to raise his voice or yell.

"(Y/n), you are as much as a disappointment then when you left. Now listen to your sister!" His mother commanded. "No! Get out! This is my house and I'm saying I don't want you here! I speak for all of us actually when I say we don't want you here!" He retorted. By now Quinn had taken the younger children inside so they didn't have to see all of the yelling.

"He's right. We don't speak to you for a reason." Florence shared, giving Hannah's heavy bag back to her. "You three ruined the family name. The least you can do is let us stay." Their father shouted. "No! You tormented us our entire lives! We never want to see you again." (Y/n) commanded, ushering them out. By now both siblings had joined in and eventually shoved them out the back door. "Close it quick!" Florence shouted, and (Y/n) locked the door.

"You haven't gotten rid of us that easily! We'll be back! You three are completely disappointing! Disgrace to the family! You deserve to be left on the street!" Their father shouted, and they all just rolled their eyes. "Go tell someone who cares! Now goodbye!" Oliver commanded, and with that there was a slam of the car door and an engine revving away.

"Thank god they're gone." (Y/n) mumbled, and both of his siblings nodded. "How did they even get your address?" Florence asked, and (Y/n) shrugged. "No clue. I'll file a restraining order anyway. I've been meaning to do that for a while." He mumbled. "I might as well get one too." Oliver agreed, and Florence nodded. "We all should." She agreed.

(Y/n) went inside and let everyone back out into the pool so they could enjoy the hot summer day, and he even brought out ice cream. It was definitely a good move since all three siblings felt better after having some ice cream. While Oliver was grilling hotdogs and hamburgers, (Y/n) went with Michael in the pool and Florence was talking with Emma and Quinn in the shade.

Michael was splashing water everywhere and giggling everytime while (Y/n) was making sure he didn't drown, since he was not the best swimmer yet. Everyone else tried their best to forget about the previous encounter and focus on having fun with each other, which they successfully did.

(Had to add some tea in here!)
