(Y/n) and Emma were co-stars on the first Harry Potter movie, and they were the best of friends. Both of them had a huge crush on one another, but they were only eleven and oblivious, and also it was too young for them to even think about dating. Maybe by the third movie they would get together.
Today when (Y/n) arrived to set, he hadn't seen Emma anywhere. "Christopher? Have you seen Emma?" (Y/n) asked, going up to the director. "She's in her dressing room." Christopher told him, and he walked off to find her.
"Emma? Are you in here?" (Y/n) asked and knocked on her door. "Come in!" Emma called out, and he opened the door. "Hi! Did you bring Millie the hamster today?" He asked her, sitting on the couch in her dressing room. All of the sudden she started crying, and (Y/n) had no idea why.
"Are you okay? Was it something I said? Did Millie bite you too? Because if it is, it just means she likes you! She does that to me all the time." He asked, patting her on the back when she started crying even more at the mention of her hamster. "Millie died. I'm just sad is all." She explained. "Oh, sorry." He apologized, giving her a hug. "It's okay. The crew made me a nice coffin for her." She told him, trying to brighten the mood.
"We should have a funeral for her! That way everyone can see the coffin the set made for her! And it'll be something to do and we wouldn't have to go to set school!" He told her, rushing off to go find guests.
"Dan! Rupert! I need you!" (Y/n) shouted, running into the chill area. "For what?" Dan asked. "I'm throwing Emma's hamster a funeral! That way she won't be sad anymore!" He told them. "What do you need us for?" Rupert asked, confused on why this was relevant. "Every funeral needs guests." He explained, and then went to go ask the set crew a question.
"Hello!" (Y/n) announced, walking to the set designers office. "Hey (Y/n). What's up?" One of the set people asked. "Can you guys make flowers for me? I need them for Millie's funeral. Emma needs flowers too!" He explained, and they nodded. "Come back in a half hour and they'll be ready." They told him, and he nodded. Once he told Christopher what he was doing and how he and Emma could not attend set school today, he was nearly finished.
"Emma! I've almost gotten everything ready!" He told her, walking back into her dressing room. She smiled at him and he gave her another hug before going off to get the flowers.
Once he picked up the flowers he went outside to set up the funeral. He made everyone go outside and wait for him while he finished getting ready. "You two are going to get married one day." Dan told Emma, and she went red and her eyes widened. "No! He's just a good friend!" She denied. "Yeah right, he totally has a crush on you!" Dan argued.
"Okay I'm back! Everyone be quiet, the funeral is about to start." (Y/n) told them, walking out with the small coffin. He put it on the grass and then took out a piece of paper.
"Millie was a very good hamster. She was very fun to play with and will be missed. She bit me a lot, but that was her way of showing she liked me! Hopefully she is in hamster heaven and playing with all the other hamsters!" (Y/n) shared, reading off his piece of paper. He took a bow while everyone clapped for him and then everyone paid their respects.
After the funeral, he gave the coffin back to Emma. "Here you go! I don't know if you want to keep this, but I'll let you decide what to do with it." He told her, and she took the coffin back and gave him another big hug. "Thank you (Y/n)." She mumbled into the hug. "You're welcome!" He responded, hugging her even tighter.
"And that was when I definitely realized I had a crush on him." Emma reminisced to the interviewer. "Well that worked out for you two then, now that you just got married?" The interviewer asked, and she nodded.
"Yeah. It's a slightly morbid story, but he really cared about making me happy and throwing a funeral. He got the set to make me fake flowers! I still have them by the way, but he was quite the gentlemen!" She reasoned, and the interview agreed. "We all need a (Y/n) in our lives." The interviewer commented. "We really do, he's very sweet." Emma smiled, thinking back on the memory. (Y/n) had definitely made her very happy, and she wouldn't have it any other way.
