Ever since Emma had started her second trimester of pregnancy, her hormones have been everywhere. Currently, her and (Y/n) were just talking in bed about different things, like who the baby would look like or what gender it would be.
"I think it's gonna be a girl." (Y/n) told Emma, who shook her head. "It's going to be a boy. I just know it." She stated with a confident look. "It's gonna be a girl Em, I know I'm right." (Y/n) stated, and Emma did not look too happy, in fact she looked like she was about to cry. "But I think it's gonna be a boy!" She cried, tears slowly streaming down her face. "No no, don't cry. You're right, it's gonna be a boy!" (Y/n) told her in an attempt to get her to stop crying. "Really?" She sniffled, and (Y/n) nodded. "Really." He confirmed, and Emma stopped crying.
The next time her hormones had gotten the best of her was when she couldn't open a jar of pickles. "What are you up to?" (Y/n) asked, stepping into the kitchen to see her glaring at the pickle jar. "I can't open the pickles." She huffed, and (Y/n) let out a chuckle before she turned and glared at him instead. "Sorry...do you need any help?" He offered, and she nodded. He got the jar open and handed it to Emma, who then took it and put some vanilla ice cream on them.
When Emma took a full bite and genuinely liked it, (Y/n) was shocked. He didn't think she would like that. Emma saw his look and offered some to him. "Would you like some? It's quite delicious actually." She offered, and he shook his head. "I'll just take your word for it.." He mumbled before leaving the room.
Eventually the time came and it was time to find out the gender of the baby. Emma still thought it was a boy, and (Y/n) thought it was a girl. They were at the doctors office and the doctor was just about to tell them. "Okay...it's a boy. Congratulations!" The doctor shared, and Emma smiled. "I knew it! I told you it was going to be a boy!" She told (Y/n) and he nodded. "You were right, and now why are you crying?" He asked, seeing the tears streaming down her face.
"Because now you were wrong!" She explained, and he just wrapped his arms around her. "It's okay, I don't mind being wrong about that." He assured her, but that didn't stop the crying. By now the doctor had left the room, and Emma was full on sobbing. "But you don't like to be wrong!" She added, and he nodded. "That's true, but I like when you're right, so I don't mine being wrong." He told her while rubbing her back in hopes of calming her down.
Emma's hormones were definitely everywhere these days, but once she had the baby her hormones would be back to normal, and that's what kept (Y/n) going whenever she would have a mood change.
