Emma, (Y/n) and Michael were all going for a walk in the park together on a nice spring day. They were just enjoying their time as a family, Michael running a bit ahead of them as the two parents walked behind him enjoying their walk. He noticed something in the bushes next to him and turned to see what it is.

He peeked inside the bushes and saw a castle in the distance. When he looked down at his feet, he noticed he wasn't wearing what he had on before. He was now wearing something along the lines of a prince's outfit. He walked up to the castle, and saw his parents, but they had on a king and queen outfit. His mother had a golden tiara on her head, his father had a golden crown with lots of jewels encrusted on it.

"Michael!" His mother cooed, picking him up and he rested his head on her shoulder. "What do you want to do today?" His father asked, and he thought about it for a minute. "Hide and seek!" He decided, and both of his parents nodded. "Alright. You go hide, and we will come find you." His mother told him, and she set him down before they started to count.

While finding a place to hide, Michael explored the castle a bit. He settled on a hiding spot, in the garden of the castle behind one of the trees. "Found you!" His father shouted, picking him up as he laughed. His mother came over shortly and pressed a kiss on his forehead while laughing with him.

In the distance, there were cameras flashing and people wanting to talk to the kind and queen, but both of them paid no mind to it. "Queen Emma! King (Y/n)! Prince Michael! Over here!" Different people called out, and they played another round of hide and seek, and this time Michael hid with his mother, while his father had to find the two.

They decided to hide in the castle's basement, and it took longer for his father to find them this time. Michael was sitting in his mother's lap, while they both tried their very best to be quiet. "He's going to find us if you keep laughing!" His mother warned him, and he took his mother's crown and put it on his head instead of hers. "Is that yours now?" His mother asked, and he nodded. "Yeah!" He confirmed, not taking it off.

"I found you guys!" His father announced, and they both laughed. "Yay!" Michael cheered, standing up and getting out of his mother's lap. The next game they decided to play was tag. Michael quickly tagged his father and ran away, trying to avoid him. Michael got away from his father, only for his mother to run up to him and tag him.

He ran around trying to tag his mother back, getting more tired as the game went on. He yawned and both of his parents stopped. "Are you getting tired?" His mother asked, and he nodded. His mother picked him up and and he buried his head in the crook of her neck.

They walked back into the castle and Michael eyes fluttered shut. When he opened them again a second later, he wasn't in the castle. His parents weren't wearing their king and queen crowns and outfits, and he wasn't wearing his mother's crown, he was wearing her sunglasses. "Are you ready to go home?" Emma asked, kissing his cheek. He nodded his head in response and it all clicked for Michael, all of that was his imagination.

In reality, he had been playing at the park with his parents, not a castle. His parents weren't the king and queen, and he wasn't a prince. The reporters trying to talk to his parents were paparazzi and not reporters.

He didn't mind that though, he liked this reality better than his imagination. At least this reality he had Spider-Man, something he didn't see anywhere at all in the castle. He was wearing his Spider-Man shirt and not his princes outfit.

Michael rested his head back in its previous spot in the crook of Emma's neck, hearing the cameras and everyone trying to talk to his parents. (Y/n) put his jacket over Michael so nobody saw him, although there most likely were already pictures of him that had been taking during their outing.

They walked back home and Emma put Michael in his bed for his nap, where he continued to dream about his adventures in the castle, but he liked his life how it was now, and if he had to choose between this one or the castle, he would choose this one.

He liked having his normal parents more than his king and queen parents, and he liked his home better than the castle. He was happy with his life, but it was nice to know he had a wild imagination, one that would probably never go away anytime soon.
