Michael had been sick the past few days, and Emma was freaking out. This was the first time Michael had gotten sick, and she thought that he was going to die, since one year olds aren't supposed to get the flu.

"Em, he's going to be fine. This is normal." (Y/n) tried to convince her to no avail. "It is not! He hasn't gotten a flu shot!" Emma told him, watching Michael sleep somewhat peacefully in her spot of the bed. She hasn't taken her eyes off him all day, and she certainly wasn't going to start now.

"Call the doctor." She told (Y/n), not taking her eyes off Michael and stroking his hair softly. "Alright." He gave in, going off to make a phone call. "Okay, the doctor is on her way." (Y/n) announced, walking back in the room. Michael was stirring awake by now, and Emma held him in her arms.

"It'll be alright, he's not going to die. I got the flu when I was even younger and I'm completely fine." (Y/n) brought up. She didn't say anything and continued to keep Michael close, pressing kisses all over his face.

The doctor arrived shortly after, and she checked to see if he actually had the flu. "Well, he does have a fever but he should be fine. I would say he'll be completely fine within twenty four hours." The doctor diagnosed, all the stress leaving Emma's body. She didn't have to worry about him dying, and (Y/n) had been right all along.

The next few hours were pretty relaxing. Michael was too tired to really do anything, so he slept most of the day. Emma took many pictures of him, just because it was cute and she loved him. Most of the pictures went onto her Facebook page, Jaqueline and (Y/n)'s mum liking every single photo and asking Emma to send them more pictures of their grandson.

(Y/n) got to do the honors of giving up his side of the bed, since Michael occupied Emma's, and Emma refused to leave Michael's side, so she took his side of the bed. (Y/n) didn't mind that since Emma was obviously taking care of their sick baby, and he could go without his spot for one day.

The next day Michael was back to his normal self, and (Y/n) and Michael spent the day playing with blocks and toy cars.
