On a Saturday night, Michael was leaving the house, going to see Sadie Sink, his sort of girlfriend. They weren't dating, but they had gone out a few times. Both of their parents didn't know about it, but they didn't worry about that yet. They just wanted to take their time and go slow, since none of them had really been in a relationship before.

"Where are you off to?" Emma asked, noticing him leaving. "Nowhere." Michael answered, not telling her anything. "Well, you're obviously going somewhere. And I have a suspicion on where. Why are you all dressed up?" She continued, Michael getting more nervous. "I'm not dressed up. I always wear this, like the last picture day for school." He defended. "I know you wore that for picture day, I picked it out. And you don't wear that unless I make you. You always wear a hoodie and sweatpants with the rare occasion of jeans and a sweater, so you're obviously going somewhere important if you are wearing dress pants and a button up shirt." His mother explained, and he just gave up at this point and tried to find words to explain where he was going, before he was interrupted.

"Stop questioning him, he's obviously going out on a date." (Y/n) intervened, and Emma smiled. "I knew it! Who's the girl?" She exclaimed. "Sadie." Michael mumbled, his parents not hearing it. "Who?" Both of them asked. "Sadie." Michael repeated, a bit louder this time so his parents heard. "Sadie Sink?" Emma asked, clarifying if she had the right person. "Cool. Have fun!" (Y/n) told his son before he left the room, most likely going to watch a bit of tv.

"So it is Sadie Sink?" When Michael nodded, she got excited. "I love Sadie! She's wonderful! A very nice girl! Okay, go have fun! Tell her I said hi! You should have her over sometime, I would love to see her! Love you, bye!" She exclaimed, rushing him out of the house. While he was still on the doorstep, he heard his mother squeal, before smiling, grateful his parents liked the girl he was sort of dating.

He arrived to Sadies house and knocked on the door, and quickly fixing his hair before she answered. Two minutes later the door opened and Sadie was smiling at him.

"Hi Michael!" She smiled, and he smiled at her. "Hi. Are you ready to go?" He asked, and she nodded. "Let's go." She agreed. He took her hand in his and they walked to the car together. Michael drove them to the restaurant before parking the car and opening the door for her.

Their dinner went by quickly and soon enough they were back in the car. "That was nice." Michael commented, smiling at her. She smiled back and nodded, soon connecting their lips in a kiss. That was their first kiss, and once they pulled away both of them were smiling widely. Nobody said anything after and just sat in a comfortable silence, the music softly playing in the background.

Michael drove them to an ice cream shop, surprising Sadie with vegan ice cream. "This is the only place in LA that serves vegan ice cream." Michael told her while opening the car door for her. She stepped out of the car and they walked inside the shop, Michael graciously paying for the ice cream. So far he had paid for everything, and Sadie was more than grateful. "Thank you." Sadie told him before sitting down and taking a bite.

"That's really good." Sadie told him and took another bite, Michael now eating his as well. "Oh wow, it is." Michael agreed. They both ate their ice cream in silence and just enjoyed the comfort of the other person. By the time they both had finished their ice cream, Michael had an ice cream mustache Sadie gave him, and a blob of ice cream on his nose, also made by Sadie. She took a quick selfie of the two of them before Michael wiped it off.

They got back in the car and Michael drove her home, giving her one last kiss before she went inside. He drove home while blasting Taylor Swift and singing along. Once he got home and gave his parents an explanation on how the date went, he went and got ready for bed, soon getting a facetime call from Sadie.

"Hey Sadie, what's up?" Michael asked. "Nothing, just wanted to see you again." She dismissed, and they started talking about their date and how much fun they both had, and also scheduling another one. They both fell asleep soon after, still on the phone call. Their date had gone really well, and they both were looking forward to more of them.
