Emma and (Y/n) both played tennis, they did it as a hobby. But both of them were quite competitive when they played against each other. Today was one of those days where they both were super competitive.
"I'm going to win, you might as well quit now." (Y/n) told her and she scoffed. "No you wont, we all know I'm better and am going to win." She retorted, walking onto the court.
The two started their match, Emma winning so far. The two played the first set, Emma still in the lead.
"What was that about winning?" She teased, and he rolled his eyes. "You got lucky. I'm winning the next one, you just watch." He snapped. They took a quick water break, seeing some cameras in the distance but paying no mind to it.
They got back on the court and continued to play, (Y/n) in the lead. "I told you!" He cheered, so far in the lead. Emma decided to distract him and earn an easy point, it wasn't cheating if he wasn't looking, was it? "Look! There's Florence Pugh! Hi Florence!" Emma called out, (Y/n) turning around, and Emma took her serve...accidentally hitting him right in the back of the head. "Where? Ow! What the hell?!" (Y/n) yelled, turning back around to Emma.
She looked just as shocked as he did, cause obviously she didn't mean to hit him in the head. She was wide eyed and frozen in her place, still shocked that she actually hit him in the head.
"Are you okay?!" She asked once she recovered from her shock, and he nodded. "I think so?" He responded, making it sound more like a question. He felt around for any blood or anything like that, nodding when he found none. "I think I'm good." He confirmed.
"I am so sorry! I didn't mean to hit you! I promise I wasn't trying to and I just wanted to get you distracted so I could win!" She rambled, and he cut her off. "So Florence isn't actually here?" He asked, still looking around for her, since she was his celebrity crush. She shook her head at her boyfriend, and he sighed. "Damn it, I wanted to meet her!" He complained, and she kissed his cheek. "Maybe another day... But for now at least you're okay." She commented, a smile making its way back on her face.
"I guess. Kinda wanted to meet her but this is fine too." He accepted. They both agreed on ending their game early and going home. When they got back (Y/n) spent the rest of the day getting ice packs at various times from Emma, who was still making sure he was okay and didn't have a concussion.
