Emma Watson Oneshots and Imagines Book Two

Earthshot Prize Awards

Emma was presenting an award at the Earthshot prize awards in London while (Y/n) and Michael would be watching from home. Michael had school and couldn't go with her, so she went with her dad, Chris, while (Y/n) stayed at home with Michael.

She had just gotten to the red carpet, which was actually green so it was technically a green carpet. She took a bunch of pictures before going inside and getting ready to present her award. She got her envelope with the card, and the host complimented her outfit.

Everyone she had seen so far complimented her outfit, which Michael actually helped her pick out. The two spent a week picking out her dress design and then getting it made, and she texted him to say everyone loves her dress that he picked out for her. He was at baseball practice when she sent her text, so she didn't expect an answer right away, but wasn't surprised when he simply answered 'good : ) You better have given me my credit for picking it out'

Finally the show started and Emma was up to present her award soon.

"I've spent much of my working career acting in fictional, make believe worlds where the impossible can be made possible. Now, we need to do the same thing with climate change here in the real world. The last five years have the hottest on record globally, as we've seen with the recent forest fires around the world that can have devastating consequences. Our three finalists have developed innovated ways to reduce climate change." She started before announcing the finalists and the winner of the award.

The winner came up and made their speech and she went to go sit down and watch the rest of the show. Once it was over, her and Chris went to go get some dinner and they FaceTimed Michael and (Y/n).

"Hi boys!" She waved, Chris waving to them as well. "Hi mum! Hi grandpa!" Michael waved, also eating his lunch at the same time. "What are you two doing?" Chris asked. "Well Michael is having lunch since he just got home from baseball. He got home and changed and then picked up chipotle for the both of us. So he's doing that and I'm just hanging out here." (Y/n) answered, and Michael nodded in agreement "And I'm going to the Lakers game and then out to dinner with Sadie later." Michael added. "Did you already eat your lunch (Y/n)?" Chris asked again. "Yeah. What are you two up to?"

"Well we just finished the show so now we're going to get some dinner since we haven't eaten in a while, but first I have to go back to the hotel and change into different clothes. But the plan is to go out and eat." Emma shared, and both boys on the other side of the phone mumbled some variation of agreement to show they were listening.

"Mum, can you please bring back that chocolate I like that they only sell in England? It's like the milk chocolate Cadbury or something like that? I forget what it's called." Michael asked, and Emma nodded. "I can try, if you don't know the name of it I don't know what to get you but I'll figure it out." Emma told him. "I think it's Cadbury, I'll text you if it isn't and if I know the real name of it." Michael mumbled, and she nodded. They said their goodbyes and hung up the phone.

Michael then went to go hang out with some friends and (Y/n) did some paperwork. Emma and her dad went and had a very nice dinner, and sure enough she stopped to pick up some Cadbury chocolate for Michael. The conference had gone really well, and she was more than ready to go to bed and get some rest before going back home to her family.
