With Sadie gone nearly everyday to film stranger things, Michael had felt a bit distant from her. They barely talked during the day because she was filming, and when she wasn't she was hanging out with Caleb. It certainly didn't help that they were love interests in the show, and that all the fans shipped them.

"What am I supposed to do? She barely answers my texts or calls and says she's busy, then goes and hangs out with Caleb. It's like I don't exist." Michael ranted to Ben, getting his anger out. "You don't think she's cheating on you, do you?" Ben asked, and Michael didn't respond for a moment.

"Maybe.." He mumbled, kicking a pebble down the sidewalk. Ben didn't say anything and just gave him a sympathetic look. Michael and Ben parted ways for the day and Michael went back to his house, ready to get his homework out of the way and spend the rest of the day playing video games, and hoping Sadie would finally make an effort to talk to him.

Once he got home and finished his homework, he checked his phone only to see no new texts from Sadie, but one from Ben saying to come over to his house and hang out. Michael replied saying he'll be there, looking at his Lock Screen and seeing the picture of him and Sadie holding up the build a bears they made as a date, before shutting off his phone and getting his shoes on.

When Michael made his way to Ben's house, Ben answered the door and they went up to his room. Noah was there as well, and the three talked for a while before Millie, Sadie and Caleb came in.

Michael looked up at Sadie, who was looking at Caleb, before going back to what he was doing before. Michael started feeling the anger bubbling up inside and had to just take a deep breath to calm down. Caleb and Sadie sat down next to each other on a beanbag, and Michael had to resist the urge to scoff at them.

"Well, I'm going to go, lots of homework to do. Thanks for having me." Michael announced, getting up from his spot. Ben looked at him in confusion. "But you always do it right when you get home from school, didn't you already do it?" He asked. Sadie spared him no glance, instead looking at what Caleb was showing her on his phone. "Mum needs me. I have to go." Michael insisted, creating a new reason to leave while glaring at Caleb. That's when it all clicked for Millie. "Alright, I'll walk you out." Millie announced, and the two left the room, finally earning Sadie's attention.

"What is going on with you?" Millie asked Michael, walking down the stairs. "Nothings going on with me, you might want to ask Sadie. I know when I'm not wanted." He told her. "You mean her and Caleb?" She questioned. "She's been ignoring me and keeps telling me she's busy, and when she's not she's hanging out with Caleb and probably making out with him!" He spat, his anger getting the best of him before he left, but not before saying one last thing. "I'm not going to try anymore, she's made it clear that she's over me. A whole year of my life just thrown away." He announced before leaving, tears making their way to his eyes.

Millie walked back upstairs and sat down again before Sadie spoke up. "What took you so long?" She asked. "Nothing, just listening to Michael tell me all about how you've been ignoring him. He said he's not going to try anymore and he knows when he's not wanted, so you might want to fix it before he breaks up with you." She told her in a matter of fact tone. "I'm not ignoring him!" She scoffed.

"Well then why did he tell me that you wont answer his calls or texts and then go hang out with Caleb? He thinks you're cheating on him for gods sake!" Millie shouted, taking everyone aback, especially Caleb because he was not interested in Sadie like that. "Caleb's like my brother! I'm not cheating on Michael! I would never cheat on him, I'm in love with him!" Sadie objected. "Well don't tell me that, tell him! What else is he supposed to think when you ignore him and go hang out with another guy? He feels like you're replacing him and he's not good enough." She asked, and Sadie finally realized it.

"Oh god...I have been ignoring him. I need to go, I really have to fix this." Sadie rushed out of the room, making her way to Michael's house in hopes of fixing their relationship. Once she arrived at his house, she rang the doorbell hoping he would answer.

"Sadie? What are you doing here?" Emma asked once she answered the door. "Hi..is Michael here? I really need to talk to him." She asked, and Emma shook her head. "No, the last I heard he was at Ben's house." She told the girl, obviously not aware of their fight. "Oh, okay. Thank you anyway." She smiled before walking away.

Then she remembered one place he could be, and she decided to walk there. When she arrived at the park, Sadie instantly walked over to the duck pond, seeing Michael feeding the ducks. She sat down next to him, and he didn't pay her any mind. "Michael, I'm really sorry." She started, and he continued to feed the ducks.

"I know I ignored you and I really didn't mean to, I just got too stressed with filming and then Caleb would tell me to let loose a bit and we would go hang out. I didn't mean to make you feel like you weren't good enough because you are perfect for me, or that I was cheating on you because I would never, ever cheat on you. Caleb is like my brother and I will never see him as anything else. I love you and I'm in love with you Michael, I never want to lose you." She apologized, Michael only taking in one part. "You...you love me?" He asked, and she nodded. "I love you Michael." She confirmed, and Michael smiled. "I love you too Sadie." He told her, and they both shared a much needed kiss.

Once they pulled apart, Michael continued to feed the ducks, handing Sadie some food to feed them as well. Sadie made sure to go out with Caleb a little less and spend more time with Michael, who she would much rather spend time with since she was hopelessly in love with him, and he he was hopelessly in love with her as well.
