Michael was practicing his basketball shots and footwork outside on the mini court in the backyard. As he was practicing, Emma had just gotten back from a run.

She saw Michael practicing outside and decided to join him. She walked over to his court and watched for a few minutes, before the ball landed near her. She took a shot, not with the best form, and it went in. Emma smirked, while Michael looked shocked.

"You can play basketball?" He asked dumbfounded. "Not too much, but I know a little bit. I go to your games all the time, I've learned a few things." She responded, and they played a mini game of basketball.

She started with the ball, and she tried to shoot it in the basket, Michael blocking her shot. He took the ball and shot it, and it went in. He smirked at her, and she rolled her eyes.

"I'm going easy on you." Emma told him, and he scoffed. "You would let me win if I asked you to, and you know it." He retorted, and she didn't respond after that because she knew he was right.

So far, Michael was winning fourteen to eight. While they were involved in their game, (Y/n) had been recording the two.

"Okay...wait one second. I need to catch my breath." He panted, grabbing his inhaler from his pocket. She walked over to him, the ball in her hands as he did his thing.

Suddenly, the ball was taken out of her hands and he ran towards the hoop, making a layup. "You cheater!" Emma gasped, while Michael just laughed. She walked over to him and enveloped him into a hug, not letting him go. "We need to keep playing!" Michael told her, trying to get out of her grip, which only tightened. "This is your penalty! You have to stay in my hug for two minutes!" She told him, kissing all over his face.

"Okay! I think we're good!" He announced, trying to get out of her grip again. "No! The two minutes aren't over!" She stopped him. He begrudgingly stayed in her hug, secretly moving them closer to the basketball. Once the two minutes were up he took the ball and made another shot. Their interaction had been recorded by (Y/n) and sent to Emma, but she didn't have her phone with her so she would see it later.

"Alright, I'm joining in now." (Y/n) announced, his presence being made known. "Okay, you and mum versus me." He told his father, taking the ball back.

So, the family spent the next hour playing family basketball, Michael totally crushing the both of them.
