Emma Watson Oneshots and Imagines Book Two

Thanksgiving

(Quick note, I am adding a new family member into (Y/n)'s family! You will see who she is when you read it, but his family backstory remains the same. Just add his sister into it and she is the nice sibling as well! To sum it up, (Y/n) has a nice sister and a nice brother, along with a mean sister they don't talk to and mean parents they don't talk to either. With that, enjoy reading!)

Today was thanksgiving and (Y/n) and Emma were hosting. All of Emma's family was coming, and (Y/n)'s brother and his wife, along with his sister and her boyfriend were coming as well.

(Y/n) had set everything up outside since there were too many people for them to be inside, and she didn't want a lot of germs in her house since Michael was still quite little. Emma had cooked most of the dinner and her mum was bringing Mac and cheese, along with some sweet potatoes. She was the first to arrive and put her food down in the kitchen before she insisted on seeing Michael.

This was Michael's first thanksgiving and he was only a few weeks old, so he wouldn't be around everyone for too long.

Jaqueline stayed with Michael for a few hours while (Y/n) and Emma were preparing the food, and the next person to arrive was Emma's father.

"Hi dad!" Emma greeted, giving him a hug. (Y/n) gave him a hug after, and Chris brought in a very small box. "You didn't have to bring any food?" Emma told him in confusion to why the box was so small, and he nodded. "I didn't. This is a present for Michael." He responded, walking upstairs to the baby's room.

Emma followed him upstairs and saw her son with her mother and father, Chris now holding a tiny stuffed animal in his hand and placing it next to his grandson. "Is that his present?" Emma asked, and her father nodded. They sat with Michael for a few more minutes before he fell asleep, and Emma ushered both of her parents out of the room before placing Michael back in the crib.

After all the food was done, (Y/n) and Chris took all of it outside while Emma and Jaqueline set the table. Once everything was ready, the next people to arrive were Alex and his family. "Auntie Emma!" Mia and Anna shouted, giving her a hug. Harrison waved before walking inside and sitting on the couch. "Hi!" Emma exclaimed, trying to keep everyone's voices down while Michael slept. "Let's all go outside. Baby Michael is asleep and we don't want to wake him." Emma told everyone, and they made their way outside.

Emma told the rest of her family to avoid ringing the doorbell and just go through the back gate so they didn't wake Michael, so now all the kids were playing outside while the adults talked.

The next people to arrive were Emma's sisters and her other brother Toby. Nina and Lucy gave Emma and (Y/n) a hug before Nina spoke up. "Where is Michael?" She asked. "He's asleep." (Y/n) shared. Toby went off to go talk to Alex, and now everyone was waiting for Oliver and his wife, along with (Y/n)'s sister Florence and her boyfriend.

Everyone started to sit down and (Y/n) went to go check on Michael. He took the monitor from the kitchen and brought it outside so they could hear if Michael woke up during dinner.

Finally Oliver and his wife, Skye, showed up along with Florence and her boyfriend Zach. Everyone sat down and got to eating, talking and laughing the more they conversed.

Eventually Michael had woken up, and Emma went to go tend to him. When she came back, Michael was in her arms and awake. (Y/n) gave him a soft kiss on the cheek and everyone wanted to hold Michael.

Emma handed him to Lucy first, since her parents had already spent some time with him, and they all took turns with holding him. After a few people held him Michael started crying, and Emma took him back since she figured he was overwhelmed. She brought him back inside for a few minutes and fed him before he fell asleep again. Once he was back upstairs and fast asleep she came back outside to the rest of the group.

Everyone continued to eat dinner together and soon enough they were all finished eating. They all sat around and talked still because they all were having such a fun time with each other. Emma was listening to Florence talk about filming black widow while (Y/n) was talking with Alex and Zach.

Eventually it had gotten dark outside and people started leaving one by one. Alex and his family were the first to go since all of their kids were tired, and Oliver and his wife left after them. Lucy, Nina and Toby had stayed a while longer until they had to leave since the roads would be too crowded if they left any later. Jaqueline was spending the night and flying back to London the next morning, and Florence and Zach had gone home since they needed to go let Billie outside and take care of her as well.

Finally Jaqueline and Chris were the only ones still at the house. Chris helped (Y/n) put all the tables and chairs away while Jaqueline was helping Emma wrap all of the leftovers up. Eventually Chris had left for the night and Jaqueline had gone into the guest bedroom to go to sleep since she had an early morning flight.

"Goodnight, thank you for a wonderful thanksgiving." Jaqueline hugged them before going to bed, and both parents had gone upstairs for the night, getting as much sleep as they could before Michael would wake up again. It was truly a wonderful thanksgiving.

(Happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate it! Also I have made the very nice decision to make Florence (Y/n)'s sister because I thought it would be nice! His background story with Oliver still applies but pretend Florence was always with friends so she wasn't really there, but they are very close now and get along well.
