Today Emma and Michael were going to the wizarding world of Harry Potter while (Y/n) was at an interview. Emma had Michael take the Hogwarts house test first and he had gotten hufflepuff.
When they got to the park Emma had taken him to the gift shop to get hufflepuff clothes. Michael ended up leaving the store wearing hufflepuff robes, a hufflepuff shirt and a hufflepuff hat. Emma had a whole bag of other hufflepuff things for Michael but they were things he couldn't wear right now and just other little collectibles.
"Come on Michael, let's go to the Harry Potter world." Emma told him, taking his hand in hers as they walked to the hidden entrance of the wizarding world.
Once they got in they had to wait in line to get on the hogwarts express. They waited in line patiently as Michael talked about how he wanted to go see his mummy on the rides. "And we have to go on the Spider-Man rides!" Michael told his mother. "But Spider-Man isn't in Harry Potter." Emma told him, and Michael nodded. "Okay. Then we have to go see everything here!" Michael shared, and Emma nodded. "We can do that." Emma agreed, and it was finally their turn to board the hogwarts express.
Michael and Emma got a compartment to themselves since Emma was famous. Michael and Emma sat next to each other on the train and Michael was closest to the window. He watched as the train started and moved through the fields.
"Mummy, the trains all dark!" Michael told her, pointing at the window to show that it was raining and dark outside. "The dementor is coming, but don't worry. Mummy will save everyone." Emma whispered to him, and he nodded. Eventually the dementor came on board and a flash of light got rid of it. "See? All better." Emma rubbed Michael's arm reassuringly. He was nestled into his mother with his eyes closed. Once the dementor was gone he poked his head out and continued to watch the window until the ride was over. "We're here!" Michael told her.
"Look! There's the train!" Michael pointed out to her, seeing the giant hogwarts express outside. "Yeah! Look how big it is!" Emma agreed, taking his hand so he didn't get lost. "Before we go on any rides, we need to get you a wand." Emma told him, and they walked to the wand shop.
"Which one do you want?" Emma asked, and Michael pointed to Hermione's. "That one. That's Hermys wand." He told her, and she bought the wand. They left the shop and continued on their walk, Emma denying pictures left and right. She wasn't here to take pictures with fans, she was here to have a fun day with her son. Luckily all the fans were nice about it and understood why she said no.
"There's the castle! It's so big!" Michael told her, staring at the castle in awe. The first ride they came across was the buckbeak ride. Emma and Michael were very lucky and managed to get front row seats, and Michael was jumping up and down in excitement. Once they got on the ride, Michael held his mother's hand since he was a bit scared, but as the ride went on he quickly let go and started laughing in excitement.
The ride ended quickly and their next stop was the hogwarts castle. They walked inside and got in line for the ride, and the first thing they saw were the moving portraits. "They're moving?" Michael looked at his mother confused. "It's magic." She told him, and he nodded. The next thing they saw was a hologram of Dumbledore talking to them. Michael waved to dumbledore before they kept moving.
"It's another painting!" Michael told his mother, pointing at the fat lady. "That's the fat lady." Emma smiled, the memories of filming Harry Potter coming back to her. She was glad she got to experience the world of Harry Potter with her son, and she was glad he enjoyed it as much as she did.
They finally got on the ride and much to Michael's dismay he couldn't sit with his mother. There was a tiny wall separating the two, but he was able to hold her hand if he reached his hand over the wall, which made him feel a lot better. "We're flying!" Michael told his mother, seeing the screen and feeling the cart move. "Mummy, there's you!" Michael pointed out, seeing Hermione pop up on the screen. Once they left the ride their next stop was to get some butter beer.
"What do you think? Do you like it?" Emma asked while Michael took a sip of his butterbeer. "It's good!" He shared, having a tiny butterbeer mustache. Emma and Michael shared the butterbeer since he was never going to finish it and Emma wasn't going to drink much of it.
Michael opened his wand box to find a map inside that shows you where to cast spells and how to cast them. Emma took him to all of the spots and he got to cast many different spells, quickly becoming the best wizard in the park.
Emma saw a few people taking pictures of her since she was there and people wanted to brag that they saw her, and she just brushed it off. As long as nobody asked for selfies with her, she didn't really care. All that mattered to her today was spending quality time with her son.
Finally they popped into honeydukes. Michael and Emma got as much candy as they could carry and paid for all of it, having to get a bag. Michael's favorite one was the chocolate frogs since they had fun little cards in them. "Mummy, I got your card!" Michael told her, showing off the Hermione Granger chocolate frog card. "That's so cool!" Emma exclaimed, giving him the card back.
By the end of their Harry Potter adventure, it was already time to have dinner. They got to the wizarding world at lunch, and they left at dinner time. They went back home to see (Y/n) putting a pizza box on the table. "Woah! You look so cool in your robes Michael!" (Y/n) exclaimed. Michael showed off his robes and sat down for dinner.
After having dinner, the family had a movie night and watched Harry Potter and the prisoner of Azkaban, with Michael wearing his hufflepuff pajamas and his hufflepuff robe over them. It was the perfect end to the perfect time at the wizarding world of Harry Potter.
