Emma Watson Oneshots and Imagines Book Two

Harry Potter

Emma had decided to start reading the Harry Potter books to Michael, starting with the very first one. She had gotten a picture book version of the first book instead of the normal one so it would be more entertaining for Michael and so he would actually be able to follow along.

"Michael, go get your pajamas on and then we'll read our story." Emma told him, and he ran upstairs to put on his pajamas while Emma and (Y/n) cleaned up their dinner.

Emma made her way upstairs and saw Michael sitting in his bed ready for the story. "Did you brush your teeth?" She asked him, and he shook his head which meant no. "Go do that first, I'll wait right here." She told him, and he nodded and went to his bathroom go brush his teeth.

Michael came back two minutes later ready to read their story. "I'm ready now!" He told her, and Emma nodded, until she noticed  his pajama shirt was on backwards. "Your shirt is on backwards. Let me fix it." Emma whispered, taking it off and putting it on him the correct way. "We have to read the story now.." Michael groaned, and Emma just shook her head in amusement. "We will! But you can't go to bed with your shirt on backwards so we had to fix it." She told the impatient boy.

Michael was wearing his Spider-Man pajamas which was most definitely not the appropriate attire for reading the Harry Potter book, but those were his favorite pajamas so she let it slide. "Okay, get in bed." She ushered him into his bed and he pulled the covers over himself, resting his head into Emma's side.

She opened the book and started to read, Michael only looking at the pictures. Emma finished the first chapter and set the book down. "Do you like the book so far?" Emma asked, rubbing his back. Michael nodded and Emma smiled. "Who's your favorite character?" She asked again. "Hermy..." He mumbled through a yawn, making Emma smile. "That's good!" She smiled, knowing she was Hermione. Michael didn't know that, since he hadn't watched the movies yet, which made her even happier that Hermione wasn't his favorite just because it was his mother, but because he actually liked her character and thought she was cool.

"Okay, goodnight Michael..I love you." Emma whispered, kissing his cheek and running a hand through his hair. "Goodnight mummy. Love you.." He mumbled, closing his eyes and falling asleep.

Emma turned on his night light and left the room, going to her room and seeing (Y/n) in bed scrolling on his phone. "Did he like the book?" He asked, looking up from his phone after noticing her presence. "Loved it. His favorite character is Hermione, but he calls her Hermy instead." She shared, a smile on her face. "That's good." He responded, going back to his phone while she got ready for bed.

The two cuddled for a bit, just talking about their days and such. They ended the night cuddling together and watching a movie, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire to honor the occasion of Michael's first time reading Harry Potter.
