Chapter 1031

Maya:
I don't remember falling asleep or showering but I woke up the next morning clean and next to Jake. We both woke up because we heard fussing. Hey he mumbled half asleep. Hey I mumbled back.

Did I even shower last night I asked. No I did it for you because you were so tired and I didn't wanna wake my sleeping angle I just didn't do your skincare but I did use a makeup wipe so your face is kinda clean he said.

That's ok I was just so tired I couldn't hang I said chuckling quietly. Yeah but you needed your rest I'm ok with doing it for you that's how much I love you he said chuckling. Mmmm what time is it I said. Uh 3:20 in the morning he said. That explains why I'm still tired I said yawning.

We heard fussing again. And that's why we're awake Jake said getting up and walking over to Abbys crib and she was awake and upset so he picked her up change her bum and brought her over.

Hey mamas why you away so early Mr sun isn't even up yet I said stroking her back when she cuddled into my chest. She's warm I said. Yeah she is Jake said feeling her forehead.

Go get the thermometer I said and he went and got it. She was super fussy and she had a runny nose so she definitely wasn't well. Shshshsh your ok baby your ok I said rocking her trying to get her to calm down a bit or even go back to sleep.

Jake came back with the thermometer and we checked her temperature which she didn't like to much but it had to be done. 100° that's not good Jake said. Poor baba that's why you're upset my sick baby I said.

We gave her some baby Tylenol just to make her feel a little better and now we're working on getting her back to sleep. I gave her paci to her and that was soothing her and she was starting to fall asleep on my chest.

Poor baby I hope she feels better in the morning Jake said. I know I hate seeing my baby sick I said stroking her back and kissing her head. You can hear how congested she is poor girl Jake said stroking her head.

Yeah should probably fix that actually I said grabbing the nose sucker thing and I gently cleaned out her little nose with it and she stayed asleep. There that's a little better I said.

I put the thing back where it belongs and since she was asleep again I had Jake put her back to bed. When she was back in her own bed he crawled back in and we started going back to sleep for a few more hours hopefully.
