"You look cute in your scrubs."
Kairi walked up to me pecking my lips.

"I hate this shit."

"You'll be alright, stay in school and you'll become a dentist babe." She smiled handing me my lunch.

I couldn't help but smile at her.

"So, have you thought of what I asked the other day?" I asked as I grabbed her hand. We began to walk to the car together and she nodded. "So?"

We got in the backseat closing the doors.

"I think that'll be best, and I feel like it'll be easier. I won't have to find a big dress to fit over my belly and stuff so yeah. Let's get eloped, have the baby, and then plan the wedding." Kairi smiled and I saw a little twinkle in her eye.

"Man I don't know why, but I'd marry you right now." I said causing her to blush.

"Devin."

"No like seriously, I don't care how or where we get married. I just know that I wanna marry you and be stuck with you forever. Might sound corny, but at least I'm being honest." I sat my food down beside me.

She teared up, "I love you baby, for real. Like this is really making me so happy, sorry for crying, but I'm like genuinely happy."

I pecked her lips and wiped her face.

"Now I don't want you to go back to work." She laughed through the tears.

"I'll be home soon, coming straight home to shower you with kisses." I teased poking her cheek.

"You better." She pecked my lips before laughing.

"I'ma eat lunch with you today, let's just enjoy the couple minutes I have left." I checked my watch.

"Okay." She smiled.

"I have the final say so, and if I say no then I fucking mean it." I said through gritted teeth. "The fuck is wrong with y'all today? Huh? Get on it!"

I clapped my hands walking out the conference room. Just a light issue, but one of the hoes got smart with me and that pissed me off. I took the elevator up to my office unlocking the door. I walked in going straight to my desk.

"You ain't see me behind you?"

I looked up, "No, hey Ma what you doing here?"

"Nothing, just stopped by on the way home from work. You working hard today." She laughed sitting in the chair across from me.

"Everyday gang." I fist bumped her.

"Yeah gang or whatever. So, have you talked to your sister? I want to plan the gender reveal and I'm waiting for her to give me the okay and the envelope."

"I haven't today, been busy and stuff so-"

My phone dinged and I picked it up seeing I had a message.

I put my phone down.

"Anyways ma-"

It dinged again.
