A dirty dishwater blonde sat at the edge of the king sized bed. His once bright blue eyes were filled with sadness and regret as he stared at the diamond on his ring. The red sweater and grey sweatpants were slightly dirty, and bruises were visible all across his exposed skin.

What had he done to deserve this?

Let's go back, shall we?

Grian's the son of the CEO of a famous company, and had been raised to take over the company. That meant he couldn't be a kid, and he had no relationships with anyone. Because they all were paid to like him.

(Reminder, read the tw. This is the only warning. Please keep yourself safe, if you'd like more fluff, I can, just ask. ^^ )

Like most people in the world, Grian's powers were revealed on his 13th birthday. He could see the future, but it would be randomly selected.

Some were insignificant, some were really important. Like what the school's lunches would be, to when, where, and how someone would die.

It was a heavy burden for him.

From being blamed for not knowing when someone would get injuried, to being outcasted for knowing what someone would do before they did.

And already being a kid that no one really liked, made it worse.

His only friend left him after graduation. And Grian couldn't help but think that he was only around Grian so he would know things.

His heart was broken when his friend left, and so he accepted the first person who even proposed the idea of a relationship.

That happened to be Evan. His soon to be husband.

Evan was a powerful man in the business world, and he demanded respect. His dark brown hair and brilliant green eyes were so beautiful to Grian. Evan was taller and much bigger than Grian, though it wasn't hard to be taller than him. His magic allowed him to silence anyone, or make their thoughts aloud to anyone within earshot.

Evan was the son of a competitor to his fathers company, so both sets of parents jumped on the idea of Evan and Grian marrying, and fusing the companies to one large company.

It wasn't a terrible idea, it's just that Evan wasn't the same man that Grian met all those years ago. Evan had changed.

He was more physical, and used his magic on Grian constantly. Grian couldn't speak, and in turn, his visions got worse and worse. Evan would fight and argue with Grian, though it was one sided.

Still, Grian loved Evan.

He thought he deserved it.

No.

He knew he deserved it.

His magic was disgusting, and in turn, so was he.

His magic was disturbing and disgraceful.

His ability to see the future was so unlike his families magic. His father's magic was luckiness. No matter what he did, there was a 99% chance he'd win. His mother could heal anyone with a touch. His brother could disinfect any wound. His sister had a sirens voice, basically 90% of the time she asked someone to do something, they would do it with little to none questions.
