Grian Oneshots

Hybrids

Happy Pride Month! I'm not uploading stories today, just this chapter. Stay safe! Above is my schedule for June.

Hybrids that Grian would be:

- Raccoon!Grian
      •  His ears and tail are fluffy and are a lighter shade of blonde then his hair. He also has slight raccoon paws, but it's more of toe beans.
      •  His tail wraps around his leg when he's zoning out, and wags gently when he's not. If he's near anyone he loves, his tail will puff up and wag fastly.
      •  His ears and tail will make him relaxed/aroused depending on who's doing it, but usually it's just relaxing.
      •  He has better eyesight and hearing them others, but that also means he gets distracted easily. Like how on the way to a server meeting, he saw a butterfly and followed it until he heard a jingle from a villager and then he just got more distracted.
      •  Kleptomaniac - but it's worse with clothing.
      •  Has a nest underneath some of the floorboards in his starter bases. Ship wreck, hobbit hole, the magic house, etc. But he also made one underneath the laboratory underneath his house from the build off.
      •  Scar and Doc found out about Grian stealing clothing when they noticed Grian had snuck into Area 77 and grabbed some of their jackets. They followed him to the secret entrance to his nest, and both realized Grian was a Hybrid of some type.
      •  Sam would get mad at Grian for being too clingy or stealing stuff - let alone actually showing his Hybrid features - so Grian got used to hiding them. Even from the Hermits he hid them. Scar and Doc were the second and third Hermits to know, as Mumbo had known since childhood.

  

- Allay!Grian
      •  Allays show their Hybrid features differently in hybrids, as their instincts to collect and organize can be hard to control along with the pixie wings. So Allays get their instincts first, and then during maturity their pixie wings grow. Allay hybrids can also faze through walls if they aren't aware of their surroundings.
      •  Unless of course the Hybrid is under extreme distress then it is postponed - like what happens to most teen hybrids under extreme distress.
      •  His pixie (aka Allay) wings are sensitive and are much like a butterfly's wings in the fact its scales instead of feathers.
      •  Although he loves his mess, give him some space and enough time, and he'll sort anyone else's storage system. Tell him to do his own, and you'll wake up with your entire storage system scrambled.
      •  Scar noticed Grian was collecting and organizing something and asked what he was doing, because it was during the turf war. Grian told him he just needed to organize it, and when Scar tried to pull Grian away from it, Grian fazed through Scar. Both were suprised, and went to X to ask what was going on. It was at that moment X mentioned that the file said Grian was an Allay hybrid. His pixie wings grew in after a month.
      •  Sam would use Grian's need to clean and organize by making Grian clean up after the murders. Because of this, Grian has an almost immediate response to clean up any blood he sees.
      •  Taurtis - after being replaced by a clone - would make Grian organize everything before doing homework, so Grian feels powerless in a clean area so he keeps his place cluttered and disorganized.

  

- Cyborg!Grian
      •  Cybernetic limbs were made by SystemZee and himself. Cybernetic limbs include: left leg, left hand.
      •  He's not good at redstone and can't wrap his head around it, so Zee created Alt-Tech. A mix between Redstone and code. That's what his cybernetic parts are made of and that's why he can make repairs to it. Alt-tech is water proof and can look like anything using code so it looks like normal body parts, despite it being prosthetic. Alt-tech is famous in certain fields because of its advancements, and Grian is proud of Zee for it. Zee thinks Grian should get more credit, but Grian's shut it down every time he's suggested anything of the sort.
      •  Obviously this Grian wouldn't mention his cybernetic parts and would try to hid them. He would eventually find a bug he couldn't fix so he'd message Iskall and/or Doc. They'd come by and fix it, but they would bond over having prosthetic limbs - though Grian wouldn't mention how he got his.
      •  Grian was trying to turn Sam in for the murders, but Sam found out and gave Grian up to the Mafia for Sam's freedom and the paperwork to move to America. The Mafia began torturing Grian for information and trying to create the perfect soldier. When the cops busted the Mafia, his leg was decaying off with his hand cut off and cauterized a few months before hand.
      •  Grian's leg and hand are made from a mix of obsidian and Netherite - though the Netherite was added after a few years of wear and tear on the prosthetic limbs. Most people know as of Season 8, because Grian broke a few things when landing wrong. He stopped and sat on the ground to glare at his leg. Mumbo and Impulse asked what happened, and Grian just asked them to get his tool bag. They did, and Grian messaged Doc before starting to repair his leg. In the open. Outside his train. I won't insult your imagination, you know where this is going.

 

Voidwalker!Grian (He/They)
      •  Voidwalkers have a hard time breathing the Overworld's air and usually can't last an hour without a breathing apparatus or filter to help them breath. Voidwalkers have a reputation for being natural leaders due to their pack instinct. They can also manipulate code easily, but major edits to it leave void burns.
      •  Grian is a special case. Sam would take his mask filter and force Grian to test how long they could last. When Sam would leave Taurtis would bring it back to Grian. On Evo Grian was afraid someone would do the same, so he stayed distant to them. When he joined the Watchers, they said they wouldn't a promised, but after Grian messed with the worlds too much, they took it away. Because being a Watcher gave them immortality, he kept suffering for weeks and weeks. Grian eventually felt his code attacking itself, so he opened a portal and collapsed onto the ground. They still didn't have his mask, so they just suffered in silence while trying to make one. It was part way through the Turf War when Etho saw Grian basically coughing his lungs out and Grian broke down. Xisuma was terrified to put it lightly, but he's never mentioned how Grian was a Watcher. Xisuma and Doc created a working mask and when they gave it to him they wanted to just hold Grian forever because they started sobbing.
      •  Voidwalkers have purple freckles and are resistant to cold & heat because they come from the Void. Grian used to use make up to cover his freckles because the purple reminded him of his time with the Watchers.
      •  Grian and Xisuma cuddle on bad days where their filters are working that well.
      •  Due to habit and the fact he can last a long time without the breathing mask, he just keeps it around their neck most of the time, but pulls it up if it's getting too hard.
      •  With Xisuma being another Voidwalker, he's the only one Grian trusts to hold the mask. He slightly trusts Doc and Etho due to their own role in how it came to be, but they trust X the most.
      •  He's met Ex and has asked about how xer freckles are instead of purple, and Ex mentioned xer an Evil counterpart. Grian got confused and said that Ex was an entity sure, but xer code wasn't suggesting xe was an evil. Ex and X were shocked until Grian mentioned that all Voidwalkers can see and/or manipulate code. (For Ex I am trying xer and xe terms because I know the Nonbinary community uses them and I want to branch out. Feel free to correct me because I likely got something wrong...)
      •  Void burn (purple and black permanent burns) central. He used to make major edits to code when he was with Sam because it was easier for him to do, but the burns started getting to much so during an edit, he accidentally shattered the code of the server. Due to this he doesn't trust themself to mess with code.
      •  Sensitive areas: literally any physical contact. Due to Voidwalkers coming from the Void where nothing exists, they are extremely sensitive to touch. This is also why Grian had said when he joined he didn't like physical contact that much, but would allow Mumbo & Scar to hold him for however long they wanted. After being revealed as a Voidwalker, Scar and Mumbo shrugged it off and just tended to hold Grian a little more then before.
      •  Voidwalkers don't specifically have a gender and are gender fluid until maturity when their body picks a gender. After maturity most Voidwalkers feel disconnected from their body and remain gender fluid, others have always felt disconnected from their body and are nonbinary. So more then 85% of all Voidwalkers are nonbinary or gender fluid.
      •  Grian doesn't know that much about pronouns because Sam & Stanley were homophobic, and the Watchers had no pronouns, but after meeting Iskall they understand their pronouns better. (He/They)
      •  It was a weird process for Grian to realize everyone was confused on why he used they/them for everyone. When asked, Grian mentioned that most Voidwalkers remain gender fluid or are nonbinary after maturity and they were unsure if any other species did the same.
      •  He is a confused cinnamon roll with an obsession with TNT and pranks. Everyone loves them and wants to protect them.
