Even if it is Pride month you cannot escape the angst. >:)
Happy Pride month though! I wish everyone a safe and happy month! Before uploading this I got back from a pride party due to all of us being in a place where we cannot attend parades easily (like a 3 hour drive.)

Semi face reveal? That's the Demi-girl flag on my cheek, and I had painted the ace flag on my wrist this morning... I have a baby face- :/

When the Hermits found the giant zoo of Hybrids, they planned a way to get all of them out.

The one room was empty however, despite them seeing the Hybrid when they first entered.

...

The blonde Avian rested his head on the humans chest. This was his Master. Sure his masters changed all the time, but he was just happy to be getting attention, rather than be stuck in that cage with the alpha. He pushed the want to shiver away, if he were to and his master woke up, he would be hurting for a long time.

He smiled to himself as he felt himself slipping unconscious.

He awoke to a bottle being smashed over his head. He fell to the ground as blood started pouring from the wound. A hand grabbed onto the Avian's collar, and picked him up off the ground.

He was slammed into the wall, before being pinned there. He wanted to whimper, he wanted to cry. He knew he couldn't.

The man slid one hand down to the Avians nether regions, and began playing with it while the man choked the Avian out slightly. He quickly disassociated, a trick he'd learned in times like this.

Once finished, the Avian was dropped the ground. His entire body was weak, but it was already weak before hand. His face was partially covered in his own blood, his wrists were cut and bruised from the tightness of being held. His neck was covered in bruises, and his wings were extremely sore. His entire nether region was in pain, but he didn't move.

His master came back, and picked the Avian up off the ground. His breath stank of alcohol, and the Avian sent a prayer to any god or person that would listen.

'Please just let this end.'

The man's hands tightly clenched around the Avians throat, but he didn't have the energy to fight back. He didn't even have the energy to look up at his master.

Once a good hold was established, the wall behind him became a really good friend to the Avian's head. The man began slamming the Avian into the wall, more and more blood pouring out from the Avian's wounds.

The Avian was dropped to the ground, before a painful hiss came from the man's direction, and he fell as well. He felt some pick him up gently, but was too close to unconsciousness to realize the man was holding him. He could hear some shouts, but couldn't make out what they were saying.

A massive headache caused him to whimper quietly, before everything turned black around him.

...

When Doc opened the door, he saw the man holding the weak, blood covered Avian. The man dropped the Avian, with no worry about the Avian escaping.

Anger coursed through him, and he shot his trident at the man, electricity covered the man, causing him to become paralyzed. Doc rushed to the Avian, before picking him up. He knew the lightness shouldn't have caught him off guard, but it did.

He shouted for Stress, Joe, or Scar to heal the poor kid. Joe arrived first, with Xisuma and Cleo quickly behind. Joe was horrified, but began working on the boy. Cleo and Xisuma just dragged the man outside the room. No one questioned their bruised, cut up, slightly bloody knuckles.

Once bandaged, Joe had Doc take the Avian to the portal back to Hermitcraft. Doc took him to Xisuma's base, and rested him on X's bed. X understood, but playfully glared at Doc.

Almost every Hermit had Hybrids they were taking care of. Doc had some creeper hybrids, because of himself being a creeper cyborg hybrid. And X and Doc were going to take care of the Avian.

X was able to access his player file, but most of it was blank. The only name they recognized being another Hermits.

Mumbo Killsalot Jumbo, a vampire.

Xisuma privately messaged Mumbo, as he didn't want anyone to freak out. Mumbo was a more private member, so most of his past, other than going to a major university for redstone, was unknown.

Xisumavoid: Mumbo if you could come to my base when your done helping Scar, that would be appreciated.
MumboJumbo: Sure? What, is my base lagging the server really bad?
Xisumavoid: That's not what it's about, but yes your base is lagging the server.
Xisumavoid: It's about an Avian who has your name on their player file.

Mumbo arrived ten minutes later, wearing no armor. He walked past Joe, who was asking of he wanted help for the bruises, and towards the Avian and Xisuma.

A look of familiarity and happiness was evident on Mumbo's face, and Xisuma waited a moment before asking questions.

"Who is he?" Xisuma asked.

Mumbo looked at X for a moment, before looking back to the Avian.

"Grian Xeqlua Watcher." Mumbo said. "My fiance."

Joe spit out his tea while X looked at Mumbo like he was speaking in tongues.

"I'm sorry, what?" X asked.

"You have a fiance!?" Joe said, too loud.

The Avians eyes snapped open, and he looked around before sitting up. He was dressed in some of X's spare clothing, a black tshirt and black leggings. It was both uncomfortable and comfortable. He sat there doing nothing while X and Joe freaked out. He stared at Mumbo for most of it, trying to understand the feeling he had towards him.

He'd never felt this way, atleast not to his memory. He'd only ever felt empty, pain, sadness, or fear.

Mumbo sat next to him, and carefully pulled him into a hug. Another emotion Grian didn't know swelled up inside him. He didn't want this to end.  If he were to die right there and then, he wouldn't care.

Grian didn't notice Mumbo bringing Grian onto his lap, nor the rubbing of the Avians back. He didn't hear the humming or the awws from across the room. All he felt, was comfort.

Something he knew he'd felt before, just he didn't remember who with.
