Grian was so fragile.

Any wrong word could send him into a panic attack as he over thought it.

But that was years ago. He'd gotten better at brushing it off - or bottling it up, like everyone else says it is. But he still had moments where he was fragile, just that only three people had ever found out about them.

Mumbo had been there the longest for Grian. So when Grian had first had a panic attack because of a rabbit, Mumbo helped him calm down, but asked. Grian told him what Sam did, almost falling into the grasp of another panic attack.

Mumbo had dropped it and had told Xisuma when Grian joined HC, that Grian was allergic to rabbits so Grian wouldn't worry as much.

Doc had found out after scaring Grian and playing with Grian's name like everyone did. That was back during Area 77 vs Hippie Commune, when Doc was bugging Grian because he was bored.

Grian had a panic attack, and had almost killed Doc. Once calm, Grian had begged Doc not to tell anyone. He didn't want to be treated different, just because of his panic attacks. Doc had hesitantly agreed, though saying Xisuma should know.

Mumbo had told Xisuma with Doc and Grian cuddling, Grian trying to hide however. Xisuma had became enraged, but not towards any of them. It was the first time Grian had even thought about how his friends would kill to keep him safe, or atleast Xisuma would.

Now it was season seven. Grian was stressing over getting the barge stocked up once again, and was frustrated. This was the 12th time this week, and it was wednesday!

Grian stopped to take a breath as he walked into his sand pit through the Nether portal. He took a moment to breath and leaned his back against the obsidian portal frame. The sun was behind the clouds, weirdly enough, so the portal frame wasn't blisteringly hot. He let his eyes slip closed as he relaxed.

He heard some sand crunch underneath something nearby, so he reluctantly opened his eyes and looked over. The   t h i n g    stared at him twitching it's nose in caution and intrest. Panic swelled up in him as his eyes stared down at it.

He didn't dare move as it hopped over to him to sniff him. He clenched his eyes shut as memories flooded him.

Memories of blood and screams.

Memories of chains and torture..

Memories of pain and death...

...Memories of a certain bunny...

Grian felt his breath increase rapidly as he shook. Even when trying to stop it, the unwelcome memories played like a loop in his mind.

He barely recognized him sliding down the portal frame and curling into a ball on the ground. Let alone the tears that blurred his vision and fell down rapidly. Hyperventilating had occured somewhere between the crying and trying to make himself small, but he was just trying to not see the still images of his friends dead bodies anymore.

Panic coursed through him faster when he felt a hand on his, which had made it's way to his hair. Grian pushed the person away, his eyes snapping into focus on the worried green ones.

The eyes were nothing like Sam's brown, they held warmth and concern, instead of insanity and bloodlust.

At the thought of Sam's eyes, his panic increased tenfold. Sam's eyes...
