After this, theres going to be a smut and angst published. They aren't connected, I just wanted to make one of all three categories.

Because of the way I was raised, Christmas is more about giving people things then receiving them, and I love helping people. I am going to use this.

Requested: No.

Grian and Mumbo's friendship was weird to outsiders.

The two insulted eachother at any chance they got, but they stayed around eachother.

No one really knew why.

Grian and Mumbo were best friends, and that was just how they showed their love to eachother, and others.

If Grian hated someone, they would know it. Mostly because Grian would ignore them and would act like they never existed.

If Mumbo hated someone, it was pretty similar to Grian. Except if you pushed Mumbo, he wouldn't attack you.

Today was the last day of school, before the Christmas break.

Grian was dressed in all black, as he very publicly hated Christmas.

Mumbo wore a red sweater that had a Santa hat design.

Unlike what most assumed would happen, Grian didn't mention Christmas or the sweaters with Mumbo. And Grian wasn't as violent as usual.

At the end of the day, Grian and Mumbo walked home.

As they reached Mumbo's house, Grian seemed hesitant to walk home.

"What's wrong?" Mumbo asked.

"Nothing. Just tired." Grian said, before turning to leave. "See you later dickhead."

Grian waved to Mumbo, before he continued walking away.

After Mumbo got inside his house, Grian stopped smiling and walked to his house reluctantly.

Walking into the household, he looked around the empty house.

No one was home.

Grian walked to his room, before shutting the door and locking it.

He smiled to himself as he leaned against the door.

He loved it.

He couldn't, and wouldn't, be yelled at for locking his door.

He looked at his desk and smiled to himself.

After a while, he left his house with a gym bag with clothing.

He walked to the train station, and waited for the next train.

He didn't notice the black haired kid watching him confused.

After getting to his destination, Grian entered the orphanage and started talking to the lady at the front.

Afterwards, he came out of the bathroom in an Elf costume.

He went into the orphanage's lounge room, and he started helping the man dressed in the Santa costume.

Grian was good with kids, but the man wasn't.

Grian helped calm the kids down, and helped give the kids the gifts.

One teen recognized him and accidentally said it loud enough for some of the younger kids to hear.

"He used to be an orphan too?" A younger girl asked the teen.

"Yep. But I never gave up hope, and soon enough I was adopted by an elf couple. Though we have to act like normal people other times of the year." Grian said squating down, and at the end he put his finger to his lips as to say it's a secret.

The little girl smiled and zipped her lips, before running off.

"Seriously, Gri?" The teen asked, chuckling.

Grian stood up and smiled softly to the teen.

The teen had dark brown hair, and grey eyes. Their left eye had a green tint however.

"It was a good explanation that doesn't destroy her childhood. I think it's a win-win." Grian said shrugging. "Anyway, how are you doing? I know how hard it is being a teen in the system."

"Honestly, I'm lucky to not have gone through most of what you have. But I'm doing fine." They said. "Theres a family that's about to foster me, and so far they seem nice."

"I hope they're going to be amazing parents to you. If not, you know where I live and how to contact me." Grian said smiling.

"Yeah, me too." They said. "And if they aren't, don't get yourself on the naughty list."

"I don't think theres been a year in my life where I haven't been on the naughty list."

"My god." They said, smiling and rolling his eyes.

After a few hours, the receptionist said there was someone who wanted to speak to him.

Grian left the kids in the receptionists care, so he walked to the reception area.

He blushed from embarrassment as he saw Mumbo.

"Dude... I thought you hated Christmas." Mumbo said, slightly laughing.

"Oh shove off." Grian muttered, before speaking louder. "What are you doing here?"

"I was worried about you." Mumbo said. "You were acting weird, and not like yourself."

Grian bit his cheek and looked at the door.

The teen walked into the room.

"Is this Mumbo?" They asked leaning onto Grian.

"Yes?" Mumbo said. "Who are you?"

"I'm Iskall." They said. "I'm one of Grian's best friends from-"

Grian slapped his hand over Iskall's mouth.

"From, what?" Mumbo asked.

Grian glared at Iskall before explaining.

"I was in the orphanage from 7-13. The family I live with, fostered before adopting me." Grian said, taking his hand off Iskall's mouth.

"Oh... So that's why you were gone in junior high..." Mumbo muttered.

"Anyway, Scar's having issues with the kids." Iskall said to Grian.

"Oh my god." Grian muttered.

Grian walked back into the room to see Chaos.

Iskall and Mumbo followed, though staying by the door.

Scar sat in his wheelchair, with a kid trying to bread his hair, and another playing with his friendship bracelet.

"Jasmine! David!" Grian called out. "You may not be on the naughty list this year, but you can still be put on next years."

Jasmine quickly stopped braiding Scar's hair, and David gave the bracelet back reluctantly.

The two kids ran off.

"Thank you..." Scar said turning to his friend.

"Of course. They should learn boundaries." Grian said, shrugging.

"They are kids, Grian. They also are orphans. They don't have parents to look at and aspire to be." Scar said, wheeling over to Grian.

Grian glanced at Mumbo and Iskall behimd him.

"Hey. Do you want to play video games at my house?" Grian asked, smiling to Scar.

"Sure." Scar said.

Before long, Grian was back in his black clothing, and the four were playing CoD at Grian's house.

His parents cake home, and ordered pizza for them.

Grian thanked them, before they left to go to a dinner date.

The four got closer, as well as Grian began to get kill streaks on the game.

~

Call of Duty is a game that I've always played with my older brother, and even though I don't like it, its one of the games that I hold close. I don't think I've ever played CoD without my brother. Don't ask me anything about CoD, because I haven't played since 2014.
