In the beginning, there was only Chaos within the void of nothingness. He was bored and lonely, so he created light. Light gave birth to Sun, and Sun spread light throughout the universe, exposing the worlds to the gods.
Light soon grew tired from lighting up the entire universe, so Chaos made Moon. Moon would light up the void with stars whenever Sun needed a break.
This was where Vacation came in. She could relax anyone and make anyone fall asleep as peaceful as a boulder.
With the regulation of the light, Life came to be. Life made people, resulting in Joy and Luck. Joy came first, being the happiness and love of all life. And Luck being able to grant most wishes and bless people with wealth and peace.
It was all too perfect.
Then Chaos disappeared. Sun took over as the role of Chaos, resulting in his light dimming and becoming more dangerous.
The rest fo teh gods tried stopping the effects, but only Life was able to get through to the corrupting god. Life gave his life to save Sun, and in turn, Life's role was split up between Joy and Vacation.
Sun grew sad for his fallen friend, and the world grew dark. Positivity became scarce, making Joy and Vacation weaker.
Moon began to help Sun during his shifts, resulting in Sun becoming used to his duties once again. Chaos's role was divided between the two to keep them sane, and Sun began to do it without Moon's help. Moon would still hang out with him, but it wasn't Moon as bad.
Positivity rose and fell throughout the ages, making Vacation and Joy more resilient.
But that was just how the Elytrians and Ancient Watchers explained the world around them. Now everyone knew that the five were really just powerful people in a culture that was destroyed by Sun.
Now the Watchers and other races trusted the Councils Words as their leaders. There was 13 members of the Council, all being high ranked Admins or Watchers.
Grian knew this very well.
After all, here he stood in front of the council trying to explain why Evo was destroyed and by whom.
"After I joined the Watchers, they destroyed Evo." Grian tried.
"Your an admin, Grian. And your words against the Watchers are distasteful at best." Councilor Celeste said, her watchers wings glowing dark purple signifying her anger.
Councilor Zero sat on the opposite side of his Watcher counterpart, his own watcher wings resting on his back and his mouth showing intrigue.
"Tell me, which Watcher recruited you, if your story is true." Councilor Thatanos asked. Him and Councilor Jasper were highly powered Servent of Death before becaming a councilors.
"Prime Watcher Xera, Councilor Thatanos."
As soon as the words left his mouth, everyone froze up with shock and fear. Councilor Zero and Councilor Celeste teleported to be directly in front of Grian, a more reasonable height of 5'10, instead of their original 30'8-31'.
"Xera?" Councilor Celeste asked, her rage burning its way into Grian.
"Yes, Councilor." Grian said, trying to step back. "It was the Prime Watcher Xera who recruited me, and Prime Watcher Xavier who taught me."
Grian watched the council members argue in Ancient Enderian, but he couldn't understand their argument. It came to an end when Councilor Jasper made a vote.
Eight of the thirteen voted for it, making it so the majority won. Then they spoke English to Grian.
"You will be sent to back into the world. You will say nothing to do with Evo nor the Watchers." Councilor Celeste stated.
"And you will answer to our calls whenever we call for you. I will show you around." Councilor Jasper said, standing from his seat and walking down to him. The projection that made him almost teh same size as the rest of the members shimmered, before turning off.
Most Councilors had a projection taht made them bigger and more threatening, but Councilor Jasper was the most forgiving of them all so his really didn't line up.
Councilor Jasper led Grian out of the room, guards walking beside them until they made their way to Councilor Jasper's office. They stood outside, while Grian and Jasper walked inside.
He was amazed to see the work shop and many weapons littering the walls on hooks.
"I was a blacksmith long before I was a servant of death." Jasper said. "But most of my items don't work the way I intended."
Grian looked at the Councilor to see that Jasper had picked up some iron and some other components. Jasper was from Region Calastro, usually known for its magic and anarchy. 2b2t and Wynncraft were the most known servers from that region.
"You have no memory from before Evo, do you?" Jasper asked, melting the iron.
"W-What?" Grian asked. How did he know?
"I knew you once. You were a child and had stolen a firework launcher from me to go steal some eggs from poor old lady." Jasper said, glancing over at him. "Your extremely lucky that I recognized you."
"I-... I'm sorry Councilor Jasper, I do not remember that..."
"I thought so." Jasper muttered.
The talking seized and Jasper made the cuffs and the compass. The gauntlets were made out of deep slate iron, and the compass was made out of obsidian with a silver chain. They deep slate cuffs were tight, but not too tight. They extended from his wrist and up to his elbow, and had many symbols engraved within the metal. The compass was placed around his neck, and glowed a vibrant red, that spun in circles.
The cuffs were locked onto Grian, and Jasper escorted Grian to the council room. There was a lodestone with red symbols along the surface. Grian placed the compass nearby, and both glowed red. The compass needle turned and pointed straight at the lodestone. The company's glow dimmed, and eventually stopped completely.
"When it glows red, you have five minutes until your teleported to the council room. If its blue, you have thirty. If its green, you wont have enough time to do anything." Jasper explained. "You can press the compass to the wrist cuffs to teleport into the hall just outside the courtroom."
Grian nodded and looked at the cuffs.
"I could use some gloves underneath these." Grian muttered.
"You can take them off by pressing your five fingers into the Ancient Watcher Symbols. It can only be off, before it messages me, for twenty minutes." Jasper explained. "An hour without them on, and I'll visit to make sure your okay."
Grian nodded, and pressed his fingers against the symbols. The wrist cuffs came off easily, and Grian just put them back on. He understood why the council would want to keep him close, he was the only one to see the two Prime Watchers in years.
