69 ~ Kingdom of Valor

I feel disturbed by it. Good god, this was something primary kids watched! Sure they wouldn't understand any of it, but good god, no. Fuck no.

Now, I love angst, I live off of it practically. But I have standards and I know not to mess with those things without placing heavy amount of triggers and just leaving implications of it, as I will not write it explicitly. Sam did shit to warn anyone. It's so fucking disgusting.

I knew about the r@pe before I watched the series (s1 as Grian & Taurtis weren't in s2), and I don't know how anyone who wasn't made aware dealt with it. Just, don't watch it.

I'm using chapter 69 for this as I need to get this out to everyone. Any stories I wrote before this one that mentions KoV, I hadn't watched Valor yet, so I was just writing without the full information.

Because of my issues with Sam after watching Valor, I'm going to explain what happened in my version of TS and YHS. I get this isn't what happened, but I love Angst so be prepared. Some of the triggers are stronger in the Valor AU version farther down the line, but its mentioned in both.

At 8, Grian was left in an alley by his parents. It was a week and a half before Sam and J found him. Sam was more possessive, but he just adored the affection after being alone.

Grian was adopted by Sam's father, William (lol idk) soon after. William abused Grian, and Grian was taken out of William's custody after a particularly bad beating at 9. Grian was shipped back to Britian and to Foster there.

Grian caused issues for every family because of his trust issues and acting out. Sam and Grian stayed in contact somewhat over the years, but not as much as Grian would've liked.

At 15, Grian went back to Japan on a scholarship. He joined YHS and became friends with J, Dom, Taurtis, and Ellen. He fell for Ellen, and they dated. But, Grian started noticing he was also attracted to guys, which he told Ellen. Ellen thought Grian was admitting to cheating, resulting in them breaking up.

Grian was heart broken, and Taurtis wanted to help his best friend. This resulted in their friends-with-benefits relationship. Grian fell in love Taurtis, but never confessed.

Sam grew angry of their bond, and killed Taurtis. Grian was chained to a wall while Sam did it, being forced to watch. Sam and Yuku began dating, resulting in them both abusing Grian. Grian began to cut himself, starve himself, and fall to depression.

Cthulu approached Grian while Grian was nursing his wounds with an ice pack, and offered Grian to leave and join a new realm. Grian laughed it off, saying that he didn't deserve it even if Cthulu could do it. Cthulu approached Grian many times, but Grian always denied.

Sam and Yuki were his only family after all. Taurtis was cloned and returned, and joined in on the abusive nature on Grian. Eventually J noticed Grian's mental state, and began to hang out with him.

J was teaching Grian to be independent, so Yuki killed J in front of Grian. Yuki eventually noticed how obsessed Sam was with Grian, so she tried to take Grian out. Sam and Taurtis stopped her, but she was tied up near Grian and received the abuse just like Grian. During one, Yuki saw Grian get sexually assaulted by Taurtis. (She had been unaware of that part of the abuse.)
