Mumbo Jumbo was the best redstone engineer of his time, but it was obvious that he wasn't exactly happy. Sure he knew he should be because of how good his life was, but his friends couldn't help but worry about why he wasn't happy. The only color he wore, was a red tie. He never took it off, and some though that maybe he didn't know how to take it off.

Mumbo stood against the wall at the party, wrapped in his own world again.

There was supposed to be a new member of the server, but Mumbo didn't really care. He just missed the fiesty blonde that he used to hang out with.

He caught himself fiddling with the red tie his best friend made for him, and he just looked around at his friends.

Iskall and Scar were talking with Xisuma. Impulse with Joe, Stress, and Cleo.

He was happy to see most of the groups were talking with people outside their normal friend group.

A fluffy haired blonde walking out to the deck caught his attention. Mumbo followed a few minutes later, and saw the blonde walking down the steps near the beach.

He followed and looked at the man who caught his attention.

He wore a red sweater, with blue jeans, and grey tennis shoes. His tennis shoes and socks were left by the steps however, and he walked barefoot towards the water.

Mumbo stood at the steps, slightly confused.

Why had this person caught his attention? Why'd he walk after him?

The man stepped into the water, slightly giggling.

It was very familiar.

Where had he heard that giggle before?

The man rolled up his jeans, before walking deeper into the water. He stared up at the sky, and his hand pointed up at the sky as he counted stars.

Mumbo was so confused.

Then he looked at the man's hand. A silver ring with a turquoise stone casting a small glint in the moonlight. Burn scars slid underneath the man's sweater, and Mumbo glanced at the other hand as well. It was also covered in burn scars.

He slid his shoes and socks off, before walking to the short man who was looking at the stars.

"I wondered how long you would stand there." The man said, slightly giggling as he turned around to face the taller more serious man.

His dark blue eyes were as deep as the last time he'd seen them.

"Grian...?" Mumbo asked.

"Yeah, Mumbolio Jumbolio?" Grian teased.

Mumbo hugged the shorter tightly, causing him to be suprised but hug back.

When they seperated from the hug Mumbo had a ton of questions rushing through his head.

"Let's return to the party before someone comes looking for us." Grian said, walking back to the steps.

It took only a few minutes to make it back to the deck, both of them barefoot.

Grian sat on the fencing, while Mumbo leaned against it.

"You still wear the tie I gave you?" Grian asked, looking at the red tie.

Mumbo nodded.

"Oh, there you two are." Iskall said, walking to them. "You must be the new member, I'm Iskall."

"Grian." Grian said, shaking Iskall's hand.

"I see you've met Mumbo, is he talking about Redstone obsessively again?" Iskall teased.

"Actually no, Mumbolio Jumbolio has yet to talk about redstone." Grian shrugged.

"...Mumbolio... Jumbolio...?" Iskall asked.

"Don't ask." Mumbo said holding his head in his hands.

"Come on Mumbo! It's a funny story." Grian teased.

"Yeah whatever, Grain." Mumbo teased back.

"I am not carbohydrates you-" Grian started.

"You two know eachother." Iskall said, looking at Mumbo.

Mumbo had turned to look at Grian, so it wasn't too difficult for him to look at Iskall.

"Yeah..." Mumbo muttered.

"Was that a question?" Grian asked Mumbo.

Mumbo shrugged.

"Why didn't you tell anyone you knew the new member?" Iskall asked.

"I realized who he was a minute or so ago." Mumbo replied honestly.

"When did you two first meet?" Iskall asked.

"Since diapers." Mumbo said, shrugging.

They talked for a while, but Iskall left after about thirty minutes later. The party ended an hour or so afterwards, and Mumbo took Grian to his base.

"Where have you been?" Mumbo asked, making some tea for them. Grian sat on the ravenette's kitchen island, smiling to Mumbo.

"Eh, don't really remember. According to what Pearl said, short term amnesia due to PTSD." Grian shrugged.

Mumbo looked at him with concern.

"Don't worry. I've dealt with everything from Valor, so I can deal with this." Grian said, trying to reassure Mumbo. Mumbo nodded, but turned back to the kettle.

"Are you sure your okay?" Mumbo asked.

"Yeah. Plus I can go to therapy if I have to."
