Grian stretched as he walked into his hobbit hole. He yawned and walked towards his staircase, before falling onto his bed. He smiled into the comforter and closed his eyes. He grew bored as he continued trying to sleep. He was tired, yet couldn't sleep. Grian continued trying, yet couldn't.

Eventually he gave up.

"Oh how I wish I was Bdubs and could sleep anywhere at anytime!" Grian groaned.

Grian stood up and walked down the stairs. He could put some resources into his super smelter, gather some sugar cane, or even try to sort his monstrous storage system while he waits to get tired.

His eyes stopped on his messaging system to Mumbo. He'd sent another message out this morning, yet no reply. Again. Frustration and sadness filled him as he hoped for a message to come through.

Like always, the message never came.

Grian held tightly onto the chest behind him, and let his head fall.

Mumbo probably doesn't even read them.

Does he even like my messages? I usually say hi, good morning, and send some small things through...

Does he... does he think I'm annoying? The K.G.O.O.M.R. was made earlier the season, and Mumbo hadn't told Grian what it meant until a week back.

Mumbo didn't even tell Grian about it. Did Mumbo think Grian wouldn't listen if Mumbo asked him to stay out of his resources? He would've. It was supposed to be playful between them... not annoying...

Oh god...

Was Grian...

Did Mumbo see Grian as an annoyance?

Did he only hang out because Grian was his neighbor?

Did...

Did Mumbo hate Grian?

To make sure no one was bothered by his existence, he just walked out of his hobbit hole. He spammed his rockets, as he flew the long way, over the ground towards his sand pit.

He began to cry as the thoughts repeated themselves. Perhaps it was the force of the wind, but he could feel the tears rushing down his cheeks as he made his way. He landed at his chests and sat down with his back to them.

No one heard the cries, nor saw the tears and how fragile he was. Once he calmed down he stood up and got to work. When the sun began to rise, Grian tied his sweater around his hips to not pass out as the heat rose quickly. Luckily he had a white tank top that was tucked into his tan jeans.

He continued digging out the sand pit after making plenty more chests. It was noon when he stopped. He turned in suprise as he felt the hand on his shoulder. Cub stood there with a concerned look.

Grian let out a sigh and smiled as he shook his head.

"Hey Cub." Grian smiled to the pharaoh.

"What are you doing with all of this sand?" Cub asked, gesturing to the large amount of chests. "I might be a pharaoh this season, but even I think that's an excessive amount."

"...I didn't realize I had that many chests full..." Grian muttered to himself. "I guess I just lost track of how much sand, I guess?"

Cub raised an eyebrow and Grian felt the pharaoh examine him. He hadn't been around Cub much, so he didn't know how much sugar to add onto his act. Too much and it would be obvious, too little and Cub would probably miss interpret things.

"How long have you been working?" Cub asked.

"I dunno, I got bored and decided to come here." Grian said.
