The Avian flew above the sea, their hand brushing through the surface water. They were calm, and wasn't a known hermit. Before they could slam into the cliffside, they angled upward, and glided up the cliffside. Once they reached the top, they allowed gravity take hold of them. They fell, their wings catching the wing and them flying upside down looking up at the sky.
They heard a rocket, and looked around as they began flying near the surface of the water. They caught five Hermits in their sight, and became scared. The Hermits wouldn't fight them unless they proved themselves to be a threat, but they also didn't want to explain anything.
Zedaph, Doc, False, Cleo, and Xisuma were the Hermits that were landed near the island bay, talking about, and gesturing, towards them. They quickly made their way towards the mesa biome they practiced their flight skills in. They noticed, and followed after them.
The Avian made their way through the canyons, going through small holes to evade the Hermits. Doc and Zed decided to fly above, and force the Avian downward, only for the Avian to fly into a mob filled cave and fly through it. They eventually flew out noticing their own mistake. Landing outside, they looked at the cave horrified. Then Doc tackled the Avian down to the ground.
"Doc!" Zed said.
The Avian assumed that was because of the way their wing bent, though only slightly sore and not broken. The Avian just let up on their attempts to escape. They were able to hear Cleo and False gasp, probably at his wings. They were pretty, from red to gold tips.
"...Lotus?" X asked.
"I'm not my god damn twin!" They groaned, glaringly the admin.
"...sorry..." X said, raised his hands up.
"Lotus has a twin?" False asked.
"Yes, that thing has a twin." They said, pushing Doc off them. They landed nearby after floating over the ground a bit.
"Hey, Lotus is our friend. Don't call him a thing." Cleo said, glaring at the Avian.
They rolled their eyes obviously, and then spread their wings out.
"If you don't mind, I'll be leaving now." They said, about to take off.
"Wait- Your name." Xisuma said. The Avian paused and he looked at the admin like he was insane.
"...Grian?" They said, confused. They took off quickly after, and made their escape.
...
Xisuma had seen the mysterious Avian many times throughout the fifth season of Hermitcraft. Only, the Avian would be flying or just relaxing in a meadow close to the world border. There was a few times he got to talk with Grian, but Grian was skeptical of everything. When he tried talking with Lotus about Grian, Lotus would shut it down. It was obvious something had happened between the twins, but neither talked about it.
Grian rested their head on their forearms as their wings spread out over the short grass. The sun hit down on them comfortably, and they ignored the footsteps towards them.
"Hey Grian." Xisuma said, causing the Avian to glare at him. They rolled their eyes and went back to relaxing in the sunlight.
"What are you doing?" Xisuma asked, sitting down near the Avian.
