Scar looked up at the person confused. They had a collared sleeveless black shirt, with blue jeans, a utility belt, and red sneakers.
They had a communicator near them, but they were obviously upset. Scar knew that he shouldn't approach them, but he couldn't help it. They were upset, and Scar couldn't leave them in good nature.
"Uh, hello?" Scar asked, smiling up to the blonde.
"Oh... Hey." The blonde said looking down at Scar.
"Wanna come down? If you'd like I can listen while you vent?" Scar tilted his head, smiling.
The blonde looked down confused but nodded. They slid off the branch, causing Scar to panic. Air swirled around the blonde as they landed softly on the ground. Scar stared in suprise.
"Your a mage?" Scar asked.
The blonde tilted their head but nodded.
"Um... So I have this friend - are we friends? Well we used to be at eachothers throats, funny story." The blonde began, pulling on their sweaters strings. "I would try to destroy his builds because - who wouldn't? They were horrid and honestly being blown up was an improvement-
...
Well we were hanging out like we do monthly, and though the night sky is pretty it's not the best place we've been. I'm biased to Wynncraft and he knows that. I should talk to Salted about bringing him there! Oh that would be so much- oh right the argument...
...
He said something and I reacted badly - atleast in his mind - and we got in an argument where he stopped talking to me." They said, holding themselves in a self hug as an embarrassed blush spread across his cheeks.
"...So you got in an argument with a friend, and you're unsure of what to do next?" Scar asked. And I thought Mumbo was a scatter brain...
They nodded.
Scar rested his hand on his face as he thought. How would Scar react?
"I think it's best that you stay determined and reach out. You can apologize for upsetting him, and hopefully your friendship will be healed!" Scar smiled to them as he put his hands on his hips.
The blonde tilted their head as they smiled.
"Always an optimist." They softly shook their head. "I'll try-" Panic set into their blue eyes as they stared at Scar. "I shouldn't be talking to you- You shouldn't of even been able to see me!" The blonde rubbed the back of their neck as they stared at Scar. They pointed to him before speaking. "Please don't tell anyone you saw me!"
"Of course?" Scar smiled as he stared confused. Did they just say something about me not supposed to be seeing them???
The blonde stepped backward and smiled to Scar, before a portal opened up behind them.
"Hey watch-" Scar began, being cut off by the blonde smirking at him.
"No need to be safe when your a god." The blonde said, smirking.
A god!?
...
Scar stared at the book in suprise. The cover of the leather-bound book had a figure pressed into the leather. One that was very similar to the person he'd met a few months back. Ever since meeting them, he had dreams about battles and different conversations with the strange god, all usually ending the same way.
They would be talking, when purple wisps surrounded the blonde. Their eyes would glow purple and they'd hold their head as they ground down on their teet in pain.
Scar would reach out to soothe his friend, but the blonde would raise their hand to stop Scar. The purple tendrils would spread out to Scar, and the blonde would stare in fear.
Purple would flood Scar's vision, and black obsidian would slowly appear in his vision. It looked like a normal Nether portal, but it was broken in certain places, creating two L shapes and the corners being there.
"Scar? That book is about the God of Chaos, Memory, Rebirth, and Magic, Xeqlua, and his fight against Hackers, glitches, and entities." TFC said. "You can take it if you'd like."
Scar looked at TFC before looking back at the book.
"No it's..." Scar whispered.
"Dreams?" TFC asked, shuffling over to Scar.
"What?" Scar asked, laughing nervously.
Scar turned to look at TFC confused. TFC had a slight frown but tapped the book.
"If you saw him, you have to tell me. He's not someone you want messing with your brain."
Scar felt anger swell up inside him as he stared at TFC. Was he insulting his friend? Sure he didn't know the guy that well, but they were kind!
"He's not-"
"Why wouldn't he mess with you?" TFC asked, lightly glaring at Scar.
"Kindness-" Scar began.
"Xeqlua is not kind."
"Your wrong."
"No. Xeqlua doesn't spare people. Not anyone, not ever." TFC glared at Scar. "He stands above this world, and doesn't interfere with the affairs of its inhabitants. He is not your friend nor your protector." TFC paused, "Do you understand what I am saying to you?"
"Your lying."
TFC let out a sigh as he looked at Scar with a softer look.
"He was different, once. A long time ago." TFC said, shaking his head. "Kind, yes. A hero even. A savior of worlds. But he suffered losses that hurt him, now he prefers isolation and pranks to the possibility of pains return."
Scar looked down at the book.
"If you see you in a dream tonight, tell him to talk with me." TFC looked away. "I'd love to be able to talk with Xeqlua omce again. He was always the right amount of Chaos and kindness."
