162 ~ The Weight of Cybernetics

Basically just how Iskall and Doc found out about Grian's prosthetics based off my own AU.

Original AU design:

- Cyborg!Grian
      •  Cybernetic limbs were made by SystemZee and himself. Cybernetic limbs include: left leg, left hand.
      •  He's not good at redstone and can't wrap his head around it, so Zee created Alt-Tech. A mix between Redstone and code. That's what his cybernetic parts are made of and that's why he can make repairs to it. Alt-tech is water proof and can look like anything using code so it looks like normal body parts, despite it being prosthetic. Alt-tech is famous in certain fields because of its advancements, and Grian is proud of Zee for it. Zee thinks Grian should get more credit, but Grian's shut it down every time he's suggested anything of the sort.
      •  Obviously this Grian wouldn't mention his cybernetic parts and would try to hid them. He would eventually find a bug he couldn't fix so he'd message Iskall and/or Doc. They'd come by and fix it, but they would bond over having prosthetic limbs - though Grian wouldn't mention how he got his.
      •  Grian was trying to turn Sam in for the murders, but Sam found out and gave Grian up to the Mafia for Sam's freedom and the paperwork to move to America. The Mafia began torturing Grian for information and trying to create the perfect soldier. When the cops busted the Mafia, his leg was decaying off with his hand cut off and cauterized a few months before hand.
      •  Grian's leg and hand are made from a mix of obsidian and Netherite - though the Netherite was added after a few years of wear and tear on the prosthetic limbs. Most people know as of Season 8, because Grian broke a few things when landing wrong. He stopped and sat on the ground to glare at his leg. Mumbo and Impulse asked what happened, and Grian just asked them to get his tool bag. They did, and Grian messaged Doc before starting to repair his leg. In the open. Outside his train. I won't insult your imagination, you know where this is going.

Grian stared at his leg confused. He huffed and sat himself down on the table. He quickly pressed the button on the upper outer thigh. The illusion stopped and the black and Netherite casing of the cybernetic leg. And pain spread through him as it was unconnected from his nerves.

And then it stopped.

He breathed out a stuttering breath, before pulling the cybernetic leg off. He slid off the table and grabbed onto the spare one. This one was far from the same level of technology, just a spare in case anything happened.

He pulled the leg on and hit the button. The leg tightened around the stump and he shakily stood up. He hobbled over to the tool kit, before beginning to take it apart.

An hour later, he glared at the Netherite and obsidian peice of technology. Sure, he was the cofounder of Alt-tech - though his name had never been on anything - but even he had a hard time with some things about it.

The blue glowing lines of code met the Redstone, causing the active Redstone to glow purple - instead of the normal red - and several other factors added to his confusion.

By all accounts his confusion was well founded, the code wasn't acting up, the mix of code and Redstone wasn't, and he knew nothing about regular redstone. His leg had just became more difficult to control and the only section he could think was doing it? The Redstone.

He didn't want to bother Zee, as they were at a party with others in the bionic medical fields.

So he would have to message someone who knew Redstone and Alt-tech, but not someone who would accidentally spill the tea on him having a prosthetic leg and hand.

He glanced down at the hand and looked at the plates of Netherite and obsidian. When Netherite had been added into experimental worlds, Zee had worked it into the design so the Redstone and code interior was more secure.
