Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

The club

When you got to the club, you were escorted to the VIP section quickly which was broken off from the main stream of the club. You all ordered your drinks and just talked about different missions you had been on, Pepper talked about work and how Tony was a full time job sometimes. Nat kept complaining that she couldn't get Bruce out of the lab sometimes. Wanda was just enamored with her Vision, there was no one that could compare. Maria was happy to call out some of your famous "I've got this babe" moments where it normally ended up in embarrassment for someone, and it wasn't always you.
"Did you really let them capture you, just to get in the base?" Nat laughed.
"Guard detail was too strong, and there was too many on the inside. I needed away in to get the data. I watched them for a week to count how many were in the base and to study their movements. Once I had that, I froze the lock, and used my shirt to help as a swing from the top bars to bust open the door. I ruined my poor shirt in the process" you shrugged taking another sip of your drink. "The only one embarrassed was Steve when he had to patch me up" you gave a grin.
"Weren't you scared they were going to experiment on you or kill you?" Pepper asked in surprise.
"Of course, but I wasn't going to go down without a fight. I had Daisy to get home to" you shrugged.
"She lives in this world where she thinks the only one that would miss her is the dog" Maria added rolling her eyes.
"Have you seen how she reacts when I come home?" you demanded taking another drink. "She's so excited. I get bitched at by you for doing something you deem reckless when I was doing what it takes to complete the mission and Fury only wants his report, and his breakfast on Sundays"
"I bitch because I care" she defended herself.
"If you didn't do it so often I might actually think I'm good at what I do" you rolled your eyes.
"You are good at what you do, you just take risks that scare me" Maria toned down her voice a little. "When I said you were stupid to turn down Tony, its because you're good at what you do"
"Tony struggled so hard with that rule" Pepper smiled over knowingly. "After he didn't hear from you for the whole week, he got Sam and Steve to go get Alpine for Bucky and lifted the ban on animals"
"Bucky was a smart choice to send over" you flushed.
"He volunteered" Nat winked at you. "He heard about the mission where the boys had to come pick you up and how you turned down Tony because of the rule, and talked Tony into letting him come see you instead"
"Oh, well, that's thoughtful" you gave a small smile. You heard one of your more liked songs that was a bit faster come on and Wanda stood up smiling grabbing your hands. "Oh, I don't dance" you shook your head, remembering the dance lessons, but too embarrassed to dance in front of people.
"Just move your body with the music, come on" she urged you to the dance floor, with Nat, Maria, and Pepper close behind. You found yourself easily swaying to the music, the group of you danced easily to the music. You found yourself really letting go, and just focusing on the movement of your body. You got so lost in the music for so long, you were surprised when you felt a hand on your waist and someone come up behind you. You turned your head ready to give an ass whooping only to see Bucky standing there with a grin. You leaned back against him and continued to dance with him. He swayed slightly to the music, and you rubbed yourself against him a bit more. You looked around and saw that the girls had already left the dance floor, except for Wanda who was now dancing with Vision. It was almost as though she knew he was coming.
"You're so distracting doll" Bucky whispered in your ear.
"How many of you showed up?" you turned around, and wound your arms around his neck. He looked down and tried not to groan appreciatively.
"Most of us" he admitted.
"I need a drink" you smirked and started to pull away from him, only to have him pull you back against his body and he leaned down to whisper in your ear.
"I already bought you one, its upstairs" he gave you a small chaste kiss on the side of the neck and you felt like a panting mess on the inside. You were supposed to be teasing him, not the other way around, in your mind at least. You turned in his arms and put on a soft smile, leaning up on your tiptoes and brushing your nose against his before moving to his ear.
"Thank you" you breathed into his ear, and gave his neck a soft kiss. You heard him moan and you took a few steps away before you started making your way back up to the VIP room. It wasn't long until you felt his flesh hand reach out for yours as you walked up the stairs. You gave yourself a smile, feeling like you might have won. You weren't sure what, but you won.
"Looks like Bucky found you" Steve grinned and you saw most of the seats taken. You grabbed your drink and stood to the side even though your feet were killing you. Bucky took a seat and took your hand and pulled you on his lap. Maria looked at you like a cat just swallowed a mouse and gave a grin. You looked at Bucky in surprise, and he gave you his signature smirk.
"What?" he grinned.
"I could have stood" you blushed.
"Your legs look great in those shoes, but your feet must be killing you" he gave a lopsided grin.
"They are" you admitted. You looked over and saw Pepper was sitting on Tony's lap, and Nat was on Bruce's lap.
"So are you two going to be a thing?" Maria asked quickly.
"Maria, stop. Just stop" you were beat red and couldn't believe that she brought it up.
"I'm just saying" she started and you gave a glare and she bit her lip. You took another sip of your drink and relaxed back into Bucky a bit more. He slung both his arms around your lap, pulling you closer. You could feel his erection digging into you and flushed more at the thought of what that meant.
"I think Newbie needs a good game night" Nat grinned from her seat.
"Tomorrow sounds like a good night for game night" Tony announced. "Recons are starting on Monday, Y/N and Bucky are headed out"
"Clint agreed to join us to keep an eye on the outside" Bucky corrected him. "I'm going into the base with Y/N while she grabs the data" he squeezed you a little tighter
"Glad that's settled" Tony gave a smirk. "So game night will be truth or dare, and it starts at 8 sharp. Don't be late" he looked at you pointedly and you took another drink.
"May I make breakfast in the morning?" you asked gently. "I've been wanting to make waffles"
"Sure, your on breakfast duty tomorrow. Good timing since your dad is going to show up" Pepper smiled.
"He never misses his Sunday breakfast, unless he's on assignment or pretending to be dead" you shrugged.
"Finish your drink, there's a slow song coming up and I have dibs on a dance" Bucky whispered to you. You flushed and nodded, drinking the rest of your drink and standing up before turning around and taking him by the flesh hand pulling him to his feet. You put more sway into your hips as you started walking back down the stairs to the dance floor and looked over your shoulder at him with a mischievous smile.
"All you have to do is ask, handsome" you winked and he pulled you close to him.  

Bucky pulled you close to him as the beat of the music started to slow down, and a slow dance came on. He took your hand with his flesh hand, then used his vibranium hand to hold you at the waist closely. You smiled gently at him as he started to sway to the tune.
"How did you know a slow dance was coming?" you asked feeling like your face was going to break with how much you were smiling.
"I might have requested it when I came in, they promised after ten fast ones, they would put on three slow ones for me. I mighta paid him to do it" he grinned in response.
"Wow Romeo, seems like you have it all planned out" you flushed a bit.
"When it comes to important things, yes. Gotta woo a girl" he winked at you and put you into a turn. You giggled softly as he brought you back, and pulled you impossibly closer.
"You're on the right track if that's what you're trying to do" you breathed.
"I'm barely getting started" he whispered into your hair, and you felt a shiver go down your back. He put you into another slow turn, and when you got back, he dipped you and you felt breathless. He kept his promise, for the next three songs he kept you on the dance floor, dancing with you slowly and continuing to turn and dip you. You almost felt dizzy with the amount of attention he was giving you. You took in his long-sleeved white Henley that was open at the collar and black jeans and bit your bottom lip thinking about how good he looked. When the fast music came back on he pulled you right against him and pulled your hand up to kiss your knuckles as he stared into your eyes. You couldn't help the flush that graced your cheeks as he started leading you back upstairs where your drink was already refilled. You saw Maria had taken the opportunity to sit on Sam's lap who was just beaming at the attention. You couldn't help the giggle that came out as Bucky pulled you back on his lap.
"Okay, real talk. I can't believe you guys stole my girl from me" Maria slurred a bit. "She was my number one, she's the best agent they had"
"That's why we stole her, we only want the best" Tony grinned. "Besides, one look at her file and even Bruce was drooling at the thought of another enhanced on the team"
"I bet you Fury didn't want to let her go" Maria giggled.
"Not at first, but then he thought the dog would stop me" Tony frowned a little.
"Thankfully not" Steve grinned. "We are all so happy that we can have animals on the compound now. Bucky's cat has been helping quite a bit"
"Yeah, he even brought it to the VA group night" Sam added for good measure.
"That's adorable" you cooed and felt Bucky's arms tighten a bit around you. You wiggled a little bit on his lap and he groaned. You took a sip of your drink, already feeling tipsy, and leaned back onto Bucky's chest. You were more relaxed than usual.
"That girl Tony, I'm just gonna put this out there, is the most reckless, smartest, funniest person I know" Maria wasn't letting that go.
"I'm not reckless" you shook your head with a laugh.
"And I'll quote your month-long mission report for you Maria. Y/N ran into the middle of the field by the guards and screamed "Hey Hydra, I heard you were a bunch of pussies", and was taken captive with the only intent of getting in the building to get data and to watch how they operated from the inside" Tony grinned.
"You seriously put it in the report?!" you looked at Maria.
"I told you I would" she grinned.
"You actually did that?" Nat started laughing.
"Of course, I did, how else was I going to get in with their security that tight?" you rolled your eyes.
"It took her a week to get out" Maria added with a nod. "That's not even the worst thing she's ever done"
"I'm cutting you off" you warned.
"You should have cut me off a while ago" she grinned in response.
"We should start heading home anyways, Newbie has an early morning" Pepper smirked at you.
"I also need to take Daisy out again before bed" you sucked back the last of your drink and knew you were going to have a hard time going down the stairs. You weren't used to drinking much more than a glass of wine or two.
"I got ya doll" Bucky saw you teeter a little as you stood up. "I'll take out little miss Daisy too"
"I'm good" you smiled.
"Stubborn" Maria yelled at you.
"Someone needs to carry her" you pointed out.
"I got this" Sam picked her up like a princess and started heading down the stairs while she giggled. You started going behind and felt Bucky's hands on your shoulders as if afraid you would fall forward.

When you got to the car, you saw there were three other cars already waiting for all of you. Bucky got in beside you, and Steve slid in on the other side while Pietro jumped in the front. You stayed silent as Happy drove you all back to the compound. When you got back, Bucky slid out and held out a hand to you. You gladly took it and unsteadily followed him inside. He led you to your bedroom and to your closet before turning around and grabbing Daisy and the leash and taking her outside for you. You called a thank you to him as he walked out, and changed into one of your black lace nighties and went to wash off your makeup quickly before falling face forward on the bed. You were fast asleep by the time Bucky came back. He smirked to himself, and picked you up to put you under the covers and tucked you in.
