Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Farmer's market

When you woke up in the morning, you smiled softly to yourself and snuggled more into Bucky's arms until you felt the familiar kiss on the back of your neck.
"Good morning beautiful" his voice was deep and raspy.
"Good morning handsome" you sighed happily. "How do you feel about going on a date today?" you turned in his arms and smiled at him expectantly.
"What kind of date?" he arched an eyebrow.
"The farmers market sounded like a lot of fun, we could get some truck food for lunch. Daisy could come with us" you bit your bottom lip and he groaned slightly before leaning down to kiss you softly. "We could also get some more plums for the kitchen" you sang a little, knowing he was running out.
"You had me at food truck, but plums are a fantastic idea" he chuckled as you rolled out of bed. You grabbed his discarded t-shirt off the floor and smirked at him before heading to the bathroom, leaving him to pick up all the rest of clothes you both had left around the room the night before. After the shower you had gotten dressed for bed, and worked on you puzzles out on the swing for a bit. But when it was time for bed, there was just too many clothes in the way for the activities you both wanted to participate in. You went to the bathroom before you went and brushed your teeth and hair, and put on some light makeup for the day with a very natural look and a lip gloss. You made your way out to the closet and Bucky was just finishing putting on his dark blue jeans and red Henley and you wanted to purr looking at him. You leaned up on your tiptoes and kissed him softly and he groaned a bit before he went to the bathroom and you started changing. You put on a pink skirt that was very flowy and went to your knees with a white blouse, and a pair of white flats to match.
"You look gorgeous" Bucky came out and smiled at you.
"See, I can look domesticated" you raised your eyebrows.
"You still stand out" he chuckled. "You'll always stand out to me though" he admitted and leaned down to kiss you again.
"Come on, Pops should be here" you giggled and led him out of the bedroom.

When you got to the table, you saw your dad wasn't there so you texted him quickly feeling very disappointed. He wrote back one word that said mission and you pouted a bit but sat down at the table beside Bucky.
"You're dolled up, where are you headed?" Nat grinned at you.
"The farmers market sounded like a lot of fun, so we are headed there today" you gave a smile.
"It was pretty relaxing. There's a lot of food trucks there, and a lot to see" Bruce piped up. "You're going to love it sunshine"
"This is close to what you need for your long term mission, but not quite. You still stand out" Wanda warned you. "I know that's what you were going for" she added a little shyly.
"I'm trying" you bit your bottom lip.
"I'm a little disappointed I didn't get my morning song this morning" Happy came out with breakfast.
"Sorry Happy, I forgot to get up a little earlier" you flushed.
"I'll let it slide" he chuckled. "I have your coffee already ready, it might be a little cold" he warned you.
"Where's your dad this morning?" Tony looked around suspiciously.
"Mission again" you shrugged. "He goes on a lot of them" you sighed softly.
"Oh, that's too bad. We will probably see him next week" he gave a small smile and you nodded. Bucky filled up your plate for you and you blushed looking at him, but you were used to it by now. He liked to make sure you ate a lot. Once he was done he filled up his plate just as much.
"You know, I've been healed for a while now, I can fill my plate" you blushed.
"Let me take care of my dame" Bucky winked at you. "You don't put enough on your plate when you do it"
"I plan on eating a lot while we are out" you giggled. "But this food is made with love, so I'll definitely finish it" you looked up and winked at Happy who smiled with pride.
"Are you bringing Daisy with you today?" Steve looked up curiously.
"Yes, she needs a good walk" you nodded with a smile. "Why don't you come with us Stevie?" you thought about how he used to spend all of his time with Bucky and you had been taking a lot of that time up.
"Yeah, it'll be fun" Bucky smiled, already catching onto what you were doing.
"Sure, I'd love to" Steve grinned. "I haven't gone in ages"
"We are taking my car, so we can bring some stuff back" you smiled in satisfaction.
"Grocery shopping is supposed to be done with Friday" Tony reminded you.
"Just make an exception for today, please Tony" you looked over and pouted.
"Just this once" he gave a half smile and you danced a little in your seat with pride. You were looking forward to getting some fresh fruits and vegetables. You also hoped you could get your hands on strawberry flavored foods while you were out, since you couldn't eat it at the compound due to Peppers allergy. You were also craving chocolate, and weren't sure which way that was going to go.
"I'll go get changed after we finish breakfast" Steve seemed excited at the prospect.
