Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Avenger Tea

You spent most of Friday in your room, only coming out for meals. You were still pissed at Tony for not apologizing for what he did, although you could tell that Bruce felt really badly about scaring the babies, and also scaring you. It didn't matter what they were testing, it was unethical. You were okay with their tests, as long as it didn't hurt the babies. Tony tried making conversation with you at the table during meals, but neither you or Bucky would respond to him. He grumbled about going to a tea party while you were mad at him, but Pepper sassed him for even that. Scott, Cint, Peter and Pietro sent their apologies, but each gave you an autograph for Laura to put in her scrapbook. Loki had come into the suite periodically during the day to check on you, as did Steve. Steve would stick around a little longer and sit in the chair while you and Bucky furiously worked on your reports. Bucky had kept you on the couch surrounded by pillows, with a bowl of strawberries and a box of cupcakes beside you for the day. He chuckled everytime he looked over at you, just munching away. Everytime Loki came in, he would bring you a cup of peppermint tea, and Bucky would make sure you had a fresh bottle of water all day.
When it was time for bed, Bucky made love to you slowly and passionately, paying special attention to your stomach. He spent half the night whispering to them, about how he couldn't wait to meet them and how he was going to be the best father he possibly could. You reassured him that he was going to be the best daddy possible for them. He would pepper kisses along your stomach every time they would move and you couldn't help but smile at his actions.

Waking up in the morning, you could hear Daisy barking outside the balcony door and you sat up in bed to see Bucky was outside the bedroom balcony with Steve. The blinds were still open so you pulled the blankets around you a little tighter. Bucky was standing there in just his boxers, seeming unbothered. He looked over and saw you watching them with flushed cheeks and he said something to Steve who promptly left with Daisy and Bucky came back in the door.
"Good morning, beautiful" he smiled and crawled into the bed beside you. He leaned in and kissed you softly on the lips.
"Good morning" your voice came out a little raspy and you gave him a soft smile.
"Steve asked if he could take Daisy for her morning run since we are going to be gone most of the day." he brushed some hair out of your face.
"That's fine, I trust him" you nodded while deep in thought. You were still tired but knew you had to get up for breakfast.
"Are you still up for your tea party?" he asked gently.
"Of course! I might need a nap on my way there" you leaned over and kissed him softly on the lips again.
"Did you want some strawberries before we go to breakfast?" he wiggled his eyebrows at you.
"You spoil me" you cooed to him, and rolled out of bed. Alpine mewed at you and you picked him up easily as you walked naked into the closet. You picked out a pair of pink satin panties and bra, putting them on quickly. You saw Bucky walk by and head out of the bedroom into the rest of the suite. You looked at all your clothes and settled on a cream colored dress that was sleeveless and went to your knees. You headed to the bathroom for your morning routine, including putting on some makeup with a soft day glow and added pink lip gloss. You put your hair up in a bun to keep your hair off the nape of your neck since it was already hot out. You slipped on a pair of black flats and went into the living room to see Bucky was just finishing preparing your strawberries.
"You look beautiful" he grinned happily at you. "I love that you look like you feel more comfortable in your clothes" he leaned down and caressed his lips against yours. You hummed happily, tasting strawberries on his tongue.
"I do feel a lot more comfortable," you sighed softly. Bucky took a step back and took a strawberry and placed it against your lips until you opened up and he grinned as you took a bite and gave a satisfactory hum.
"Good girl" he put the rest of the strawberry in your mouth and handed you the bowl. He headed into the bedroom to change and came out a few minutes later while you were just finishing your strawberries. "Let's get to breakfast" he took your hand and kissed your knuckles. You raked your eyes over his perfectly sculpted form, wearing a cream button down short sleeved shirt, and his dark blue jeans with his normal black boots.
"Why go eat when my eyes just had a feast" you giggled and winked at him.
"So did mine" he looked you up and down. "But the babies need more than just strawberries" he chuckled and led you out of the room.
