Moon and Stars

You woke up in the morning being encircled in Bucky's arms again. You had fallen asleep to him still laying on your stomach, and had no idea when he slipped in beside you. You moved in Bucky's arms until you turned enough to face him and kissed him softly on the lips.
"Good morning" you sang softly, waiting for him to stir. He finally moved slightly, and leaned into you kissing you again.
"Good morning beautiful" Bucky sighed, pulling back from the kiss. "How was your sleep?" he asked expectantly.
"I slept really heavy" you admitted and sat up to get out of bed.
"The babies were moving a bit, but stopped once you were in a deep sleep" he admitted. "I can't believe they moved that much. Does it hurt?"
"It feels like flutters" You gave a small smile. "It doesn't hurt right now" you shook your head and stood up a little too quickly and had to sit back down.
"You okay?" he demanded.
"I just stood up too fast, stop worrying so much" you smiled over your shoulder at him. You stood up again, a little more slowly and headed towards the bathroom to do your business. You heard Bucky get out of bed and whistle to Daisy to jump out of bed. You could hear the movement of fabric as he made the bed as well. When you came back out he was in the middle of opening the balcony door and looked back to you, still shirtless and in his pajama bottoms.
"I'm just running out Daisy, wear my shirt for today" he offered.
"I have dresses, you'll see" you shook your head.
"I like you better in my clothes" he chuckled and headed out with Daisy, heading to the stairs to take her out to pee. This was something else you were going to miss about the house, the freedom to take Daisy just outside the door instead of having to go further for a walk. You walked into the closet seeing all of your older clothes and smiled to yourself hoping it would still fit. You smartly grabbed a pair of leggings after slipping on a pair of your satin panties that were a bit tight, the same with your bra. You knew you would have to go shopping soon, because you needed to go up a size or two. You went to put on one of your old t-shirts, but the skin on your stomach was showing. You struggled taking it off and huffed slightly before trying one of the baggier ones you owned, but it still showed off your stomach. You finally put on one of Bucky's t-shirts and went to sit on the side of the bed, deciding to wait on Bucky to come back. You knew you had to work on your reports today, and possibly get some tests done by Bruce. You felt tired already, and wanted a nap before going to get food. The thought of food made you stand up and you went into the kitchenette to dig into the fridge and pull out some of the strawberries. You washed them quickly and started munching on them. You heard Bucky come back in, and you heard him in the closet, but you now had a focus of eating strawberries and you were happy about it. He came out and grinned at you.
"You won't be able to eat those at the table" he chuckled.
"I know" you pouted. "I ate a whole pound" you admitted shyly.
"Hopefully they have something you'll like at breakfast" Bucky wrapped his arms around you, and kissed you softly on the lips. "You decided to wear my shirt doll" he wiggled his eyebrows.
"My clothes don't fit right, they're all so tight and show too much. " you pouted. "I need to go shopping, and I'm half tempted to just order online and have it delivered"
"You know the girls would have a hayday going shopping with you" he leaned in for another kiss. "Loki would too"
"Ladies first" you leaned up and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. You felt the flutters again and stopped. Bucky saw the look on your face and put his hand quickly on your stomach again and his face broke out into a bright smile.
"My little stars and moon" Bucky whispered to himself.
"Hmm?" you asked, looking at him.
"I nicknamed them stars and moon" he grinned. "I thought of it last night when they were moving around"
"Why stars and moon?" you asked with a smile.
"That's easy, it's because you are my universe" he beamed at you and you blushed as he had caught you off guard. You touched him on the cheeks and brought him down to lightly caress your lips against his. You heard a loud knock from behind you suddenly and you both broke apart.
"Who is it?" Bucky demanded, a little irritated that the moment was ruined.
"Well, I'm not your babysitter, but you two are late for breakfast" Steve's voice came through the door.
"Shit, I forgot Tony's schedule" you winced slightly.
"Come on doll" Bucky took your hand and led you to the door. Alpine jumped up onto your shoulder and Daisy raced out as soon as the door opened and she yipped at Steve before making her way to where she knew her food would be waiting for her in the dining room.

"About time you two decided to join us" Tony rolled his eyes at both of you as you arrived. Alpine jumped down and went to his food dish and Bucky pulled out your chair for you to sit down.
"We were having a moment" Bucky looked at him with a bit of a glare.
"Didn't you have enough moments already?" Scott chuckled.
"The babies were moving" you blushed a bit.
"That's too early, are you sure it's not gas?" Bruce asked outright.
"No, they are on time to be moving" Loki shook his head. "They are special, and are growing at a faster rate"
"It's not gas, I can feel them too" Bucky shook his head.
"Fascinating, can I do some tests?" Bruce asked quickly.
"We were hoping you would," you nodded. "That and we had more questions for Loki"
"What kind of questions?" Loki asked you curiously.
"Are they enhanced with just my water power?" you bit at your bottom lip unsurely.
"No, super soldier as well. Not your frost ability, only your natural gifts" Loki gave a soft smile. Bucky seemed worried and paused for a moment before opening his mouth.
"Will it be a harder pregnancy because they are super soldiers?" Bucky asked unsurely.
"Once they get stronger, potentially" Loki nodded. "I daresay they will likely be born early, but the size of a normal baby. They both are the size of an 18 week old baby, each. Which explains the size"
"I need to test that though" Bruce chimed in.
"My mother is the best healer of the nine realms, and aided many a maiden with their pregnancies. I've learned about this first hand, and have the magic I learned from her. I can assure you, I'm not wrong" Loki sighed.
"We are not doubting you Loki" Nat looked at him. "They just haven't seen anything like this before"
"It would be best not to, Loki is rarely wrong when it comes to maidens and their young ones" Thor smiled at his brother proudly.
"The next time they are moving, I better be told" Maria announced as Bucky handed you a platter of food and you filled your plate quickly. You had pancakes, eggs, and sausages. You were craving fruit, but saw there was some nutella on the table and grabbed it quickly to put on your pancakes.
"We have some fruit salad too" Happy passed down a bowl and you poured it into a cereal bowl before passing it down.
"You sure you can eat all that?" Steve asked you surprised.
"Of course I can" you smirked and Bucky gave a proud smile.
"That's my dame" he leaned over and kissed you on the cheek.
"She was my dame before, and I mean it, I want to be told next time they are moving" Maria looked at you.
"Yes, I'll let you know." you gave a small smile and started digging in.
"You two are working on your mission reports for the next two days, right?" Tony asked after a small silence and you both nodded in confirmation. "Good, we will start with the tests first, we missed out on a lot of data for the new babies, but at least now we can get what we need"
"They aren't lab experiments, Tony" Pepper gave him a small slap on the arm.
"We do need to see if Loki is right, for science" Tony shrugged.
"Can we see them on the monitor again?" you asked hopefully.
"That we can definitely do" Bruce gave you a small smile. "It's nice to have you back with us Sunshine" he grinned.
You saw there was orange juice and poured yourself and Bucky a large glass and drank yours right away. You finished everything in your bowl and plate and sat back satisfied with yourself. You couldn't wait to go back to your suite for some strawberries though.
"Full?" Bucky looked at you with a smirk.
"Still craving strawberries" you admitted and felt the familiar flutter. "Maria, they're moving" you looked at her and she jumped out of her seat and ran over putting her hand on your stomach. She squealed a little when she felt the movements.
"Seriously?" Nat stood up and came over and put her hand on your stomach as well.
"That's my Moon and Stars" Bucky spoke proudly.
"That's so sweet you nicknamed them already" Wanda came over to feel as well, so Maria moved back. "I like the reason behind it" she added smoothly.
"They are pretty active" Nat moved back.
"Can I?" Pepper asked, and you gave a nod and she touched your stomach as well. You were starting to feel a little anxious with everyone touching you, but you knew they were excited as you and Bucky were.
"Alright doll, let's go back to our room" Bucky could feel your discomfort. "We can work on our mission reports from there"
"What about our tests?" Tony looked at him surprised.
"You can get them this afternoon, after lunch" Bucky decided, wanting to get you out of there. You got up unsurely and nodded to Bucky who didn't miss a beat. "You look tired" he sighed softly, looking at you.
"Just a little" you looked at Loki.
"It's that or the nausea" Loki shrugged.
"I'll take seeing her tired" Bucky decided and picked you up from under your knees and held your back. You put your arms around his neck whispering a soft thank you into his ear and he nodded to the team before he started heading back to the bedroom suite.
