Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

Bucky's date part 2 **

"Now if memory serves..." you paused as you turned into the lookout that Bucky took you to on your second date. "Yes, this is it" you parked the car. You ran around to the trunk and pulled out a telescope and a small think red and white checkered blanket.
"You really put a lot of thought into this" he mused, taking the telescope from you and heading to the spot you both sat at last time. You put down the blanket while he put up the telescope and stood back to look through it.
"Tonight is special because there is supposed to be a lot of shooting stars. I thought you might be able to see some in the telescope up close" you smiled at him easily and sat down on the blanket and looking up at the sky.
"How do yow know that?" he asked coming over and sitting beside you.
"I looked it up" you shrugged. "For every shooting star you see, you can't forget to make a wish" you reminded him. "That's the rules"
"What else can I wish for, when I have everything I always wanted right here?" he touched your cheek leaning over and brushing his lips against yours lightly.
"Think of something else you've always wanted" you shrugged as he pulled away. He went and looked through the telescope again after a few minutes, seeming to be very interested in looking at the night sky. You sighed happily, knowing you made the right choices. It was easy to get Happy to put your delivery in the trunk of your car, as long as you promised to go only when you were done your pills. You loved watching Bucky look through the telescope. He was so excited at everything he was looking at. A few times he called you over to look through it with him. He would hold you from behind, and kiss your shoulder as you gazed at the night sky with him. It was different looking through the telescope itself. You finally went to the blanket and laid back on it with your purse under your head and gazed up at the sky. When you saw the first shooting star, you made your hearts deepest wish. You started to see them come by more frequently and felt movement beside you as Bucky laid down beside you and moved your purse so you would rest your head on his arm instead. He tried pulling you in as close as possible, and would point at the shooting stars as they went by.
"You better be making your wishes Bucky" you warned him, as you closed your eyes making another wish.
"I'm making wishes" he chuckled. You peeked at him and saw he was just gazing at the sky with a smile on his face. You continued to watch the sky with him, feeling in complete bliss. There wasn't a moment you weren't cherishing from today. You took out your camera and took a selfie of the two of you laying on the blanket, and when you went to look at it to see if you were going to keep it, you saw in the photo that Bucky had turned to face you and was gazing at you lovingly. You shut off the screen and went back to star gazing. He started pointing out different constellations to you between the shooting stars and you turned on your side, snuggling into him more. You had to crane your neck to look at some of the constellations but you didn't mind. It was pretty fascinating. You made a few more wishes, and felt Bucky kiss you on top of the head.
"Its after two am" he suddenly whispered to you.
"The star shower stops at four" you smiled up at him.
"I better get you home, you look tired" he sat up a little bit gazing down at you with a smile.
"I'm not tired" you frowned.
"There's also paparazzi watching us for the last few hours" he whispered to you.
"For goodness sake" you sat up and looked around. "Where?" you demanded. "They are ruining date night"
"In the woods, come on, lets go home and finish our date at the compound" he grinned grabbing the telescope and taking it down while you picked up the blanket and your purse.
"I really wanted to watch the whole shower" you pouted as you folded the blanket.
"You, planned the worlds perfect date, and it's ending perfectly" he came over and kissed you softly on the lips. "I'd better behave myself for now" he winked at you. You unlocked the trunk and you both put in the blanket and telescope before Bucky opened the passenger side door for you, and you smiled gently before getting in. He leaned in and buckled you in and you giggled before he went around and took the drivers seat and you handed him the keys. You turned on "Come away with me" by Norah Jones on the blue tooth speaker, and Bucky reached out a hand and held yours as he started to drive home.
