Newbie (Bucky x Reader)

A definite yes

You saw him pull out the box, and you saw him open the box. Inside the ring sparkled brightly, and had a large diamond in the shape of a rose embedded into a wide band that was engraved with tiny looking leaves and roses along the entirety of it. You held out your hand, crying softly and nodding while trying to find the words.
"Yes, a million times over yes" you smiled broadly and continued to nod while you cried.
"Good, you had me scared for a minute" he gave a relieved smile, took out the ring and slipped it on your finger. You waited for the ring to be fully on your finger before throwing yourself at Bucky knocking him onto his back. He wrapped his arms around you to catch you and you crashed your lips against his. He pulled you in close and you delved your tongue in past his lips, and rubbed it against his sensuously. Bucky let out a soft moan and returned the favor happily. You felt his hands rub along your sides before coming up and going into your hair and pulling you closer. You both let out soft moans, and you pulled back to admire the ring again, still laying on top of him.
"This is beautiful" you felt the tears falling freely down your face.
"Only the best for my doll" Bucky touched the side of your face and pulled you back into a soft kiss. "I've had it for a while, but I needed to talk to your dad first. After we started this mission, I just couldn't wait anymore" he admitted. "I came back this morning and asked him"
"You asked my dad?" you asked, feeling surprised he didn't have bullet hole in him.
"I did. He said yes" he grinned happily. "He said he knows I make you happy, and can see it for himself. He also told me he would kill me himself if I ever hurt you" he grimaced as he admitted that part.
"I love you" you cooed to him and leaned down to kiss him again. "God I love you so much" you kept kissing him and pulling back to look between him and the ring.
"We need to keep it here with your necklace still, until the mission is over" he whispered softly.
"I can't believe you asked me to marry you" you whispered, not fully comprehending everything.
"Have you met you? Of course I would. I'm so in love with you, and every day I just fall in love with you more" he leaned up and kissed you again.
"I fall in love with you more and more every day too" you sighed.
"Come on, your dad is waiting" Bucky started to sit up, and helped you to your feet before he got off the balcony floor. You gave a soft giggle looking at the ring again.
"After this mission, I'm never taking it off" you bit your bottom lip. "Wait, pop's is waiting?" it finally hit you.
"All day, here at the compound" he grinned. "He took the day off work to see for himself the outcome" he winked at you and took your hand. You followed him blindly, still looking at the ring and then back at him. You knew your face would be a mess from crying.

"I knew she would say yes" Wanda grinned as you both came into the living room.
"We are getting married" you spoke softly looking up and showing your hand off proudly.
"Come here pumpkin" Fury stood up in his full black outfit as usual. "I'm so happy for you" he grinned. You ran to your dad and threw your arms around him. "I miss you so much" he kissed you on top of the head.
"I miss you too pops" you held him a little tighter. "I wanted to tell you some news in person once the mission finished, but now seems like a better time" you pulled back a little and looked him in the eyes, forgetting anyone else was in the room. The entire team was assembled, including Maria, standing there proudly watching you both.
"Don't tell me your pregnant" he closed his eyes, like he suddenly had a massive headache.
"Okay, I wont" you pulled back a little. "But I am" you admitted. Quick like lightning he took out his gun and pointed it at Bucky.
"Pops!" you jumped in front of the gun.
"I will keep my promise, if you ever hurt her or that baby I will kill you soldier" Fury looked pissed.
"Babies" you corrected him, and bit your bottom lip.
"Pumpkin..." he lowered the gun slightly.
"Daddy..." you drifted off, wondering what he was going to do.
"I'm going to really be a grandpa?" he demanded.
"Yes" Loki spoke up when you seemed to hesitate. "I've been putting spells on her to make sure she doesn't suffer morning sickness since it started"
Fury lowered the gun and pulled you into another hug.
"It seems we have more to celebrate than I thought" Tony smirked from behind you. You felt Maria come over and put her arms around both of you.
"I'm going to be an auntie!" she shrieked slightly.
"How far along is she?" Steve asked, looking at Bucky.
"Doc said two months, but that could be anywhere from five weeks to eight weeks if we are going to be honest" Bucky smiled as Steve and Sam took a moment to hug him.
"I wish we had more time before you two have to head back for your mission I would check" Bruce and Nat came over to hug you once your dad and Maria finally let you go.
"I'll go get some orange juice for the bride to be" Pepper clapped happily and headed to the kitchen.
"Are you ready for this?" Fury asked you as Wanda and Vision hugged you next.
"Born ready pops, especially with Bucky at my side" you smiled broadly at him. "Its going to be the worlds best mission"
"Maybe we should pull you from this mission" Fury looked to Tony.
"No way! We are getting somewhere on this. I'm not going to stop living my life, not now that I finally started" you shook your head. Pepper came back and gave you a tight hug. Fury seemed to be at a loss for words while everyone was going around the room hugging both you and Bucky.
"I had a feeling this was going to happen the way you two go at it" Scott chuckled as he hugged Bucky and you heard your father groan.
"I didn't need to know that" Fury shook his head.
"Trust me, none of us did. We are just glad they are coming back to a soundproof room" Pietro smirked. Bucky came over and pulled you back into his arms.
"Keep my daughter safe, and your children" Fury started out saying strongly, but almost seemed to whisper at the end.
"That I can promise to do" Bucky vowed.
"Champagne, and orange juice" Happy announced and handed you an orange juice in a champagne flute before everyone else took some champagne.
"To the happy couple" Tony held up his glass. "And to the party we are going to have when you come home"
"Thank you" Bucky smiled and kissed you softly on the lips before you both took sips of your drinks.
"Can I do a blood test, I mean, you'll be home a little later. But we will know where you are in the pregnancy" Bruce asked gently.
"Sure, I don't see why not" you smiled and he left the room quickly.
"Lets take a seat" Tony gestured to the couches. You went and sat in your normal spot that was between Bucky and Steve. Steve put his arm around you for a moment and pulled you in and gave you a kiss on top of the head.
"I'm so happy for you both" he smiled at you.
"Did you want to see a picture?" Bucky pulled out his wallet, and you saw the ultrasound photograph was in his wallet. He showed it to Steve proudly, and Fury got up quickly to come over to look at it.
"They are so tiny, they look like beans" Steve mused while Fury sat on the arm of the couch staring at the photograph. Bruce came in and you gave him your arm to take blood before he left quickly.
"We all want to see" Wanda perked up.
"Here" Tony came over and took a photo of it, then it was suddenly on the TV screen with a flip of his fingers.
"You mortals are so interesting" Loki looked at the picture as Bucky put it back in his wallet.
"You are fond of us mortals" you smirked at him.
"Are we talking names yet?" Maria demanded. "I better be maid of honor" she added looking at you seriously from where she sat on Sam's lap.
"Names no, we just found out on Monday. I'm not even out of the first trimester where anything can happen" you blushed a little.
"Yes, we would want you as maid of honor" Bucky nodded, already knowing it would be what you wanted.
"We need to start talking wedding details" Maria grinned at you. "Keep that burner phone close"
"They need to be careful, there's someone that keeps bugging their house and now they put up camera's" Tony warned.
"I'll only use it in the bedroom, he hasn't gone upstairs has he?" you looked over worriedly.
"Not while I was watching. Daisy keeps attacking him. Same perp as last time" he changed the photo from the babies to a photo of Ron wearing a baseball cap.
"That's our next door neighbor" you looked to Bucky. "We both don't like him. We think he might have something to do with the gun trafficking"
"We were talking about him earlier, Y/N wants to get to know his wife a little better so she can gain access to the house. We think he's working out of the basement" Bucky nodded.
"Which is going to be pretty easy to access if they would just go out once in a while together" you bit your bottom lip.
"Keep watching him" Steve spoke gently. "You'll find your in"
"Its probably going to happen during the day, if his wife goes out at all" Nat looked at you meaningfully. "Be careful if you do. If he's putting in bugs and camera's he's tech savvy. He might have camera's in the basement too" she warned you.
"I've got this" you grinned. You leaned into Bucky and the team started filling you both in on everything you had been missing while you were on a mission. Nat admitted they were all trying to get out more and be more in the public eye so the media doesn't catch on that you and Bucky aren't around. Fury seemed to be drinking in all of the conversation, and trying to wrap his mind around all the news that he had for today.
"You okay pops?" you asked gently.
"I never thought you would get married or have kids someday" he smiled. "I'm relieved" he sighed. "But it's a lot for one day. I'm just so proud of you"
"I'm very happy daddy" you leaned into Bucky who kissed you on top of the head. "Its more than I ever thought I'd have too"
"Six weeks" Bruce came into the room, speaking loudly. He looked like he had just come running from the lab.
"They have a strong heartbeat for six weeks" you smiled.
"You can hear them?" Fury asked suddenly.
"Yes, we heard them on Monday" Bucky nodded. "Thank you for telling us Bruce"
"We will have to have a doctor on full time staffing once you get back so we can keep an eye on those babies of yours" Tony decided.
"They might be enhanced" Bruce nodded in agreement.
"Let's take one step at a time, Newbie and Bucky are getting married, and they have kids on the way. Let's celebrate that" Sam smiled at you.
"Thank you" you smiled over.
"I hate to say this, but I need to get these kids back to their mission" Clint spoke up.
"Try to finish it a little faster, we miss you" Happy looked at you both.
"We will finish as fast as we can. But missions like these take time" Bucky spoke gently and got up, but pulled you close to him as he stood.
"Come here" Fury came over and hugged you both at the same time. "Be safe" he whispered in your ear.
"Get your sassy ass back here as soon as you can" Maria pushed him out of the way and hugged you both.
"The spell I put on you should last three weeks. You might have to endure a little morning sickness" Loki spoke gently as he came over. You reached up and kissed him on the cheek.
"Be safe you two" Steve engulfed you in a hug.
"We miss all of you" you told everyone in the room. Each person came over to hug you both before Bucky started leading you back to the backdoor that led to the tarmac with Clint close behind you. Your dad seemed to be hesitant to watch you leave, but you smiled at him as you walked towards the jet. You looked again at your ring, knowing you would have to take it off soon, but didn't want to.
"You'll get it back kid" Clint opened the back of the jet, and you both followed him in.
"I just can't believe it" you looked to Bucky as you both walked in.
"Start believing it, my heart is yours. I think it always was meant to be yours" Bucky whispered to you and kissed you softly on the lips.
"Strap in until we are in the skies" Clint called to you. "Then you'll have to get changed and cleaned up before we land. It's a quick drop off"
"What are we going to tell the neighbors we did for date night?" you looked at Bucky as you both strapped in.
"Your rich uncle sent a jet for us to go visit" Bucky shrugged and you giggled.
